北海道をお借りしていい?/ Renting Hokkaido to eColombia
Darshu
I hope you will forgive my English, time is at the essence.
During the Dictatorship of our strongest land player we got an offer from eColombia: they want to rent Hokkaido for 1,000,000 JPY / month and they will reimburse the tax revenues.

Details
- The renting period can last up to three months. After a maximum of three months, the region will return to eJapan.
- Our Dictator promised to leave this money to eJapan. I have no power over him, so I am giving him the benefit of the doubt, and ask the eColombian part to deposit the renting fees to a Japanese org. (I could be holding onto this money as well, but I consider this too much risk. I would like to see these eJapanese assets diversified.)
- As this is a considerable amount of money I hope this deal will give eJapan the necessary extra income to restart the country in the future.
- The Airstrike will not happen before Day 4900. So there is little time left.

Concerns:
For those who wish to relocate before the airstrike. Contact me or write a comment mentioning tickets, I will provide flight tickets if needed. Hopefully, by now, most of you have enough tokens to relocate factories without trouble. As the region will return to eJapan this is not mandatory.
Those who wish to raise concerns, please share your thoughts in the comment section.
Serving this country is a great honour,

An interesting side effect: if this deal goes through, all Japanese regions will be utilised for either living and producing, training wars, and lease. We won't have any extra regions just sitting there, idle.
It also comes with the negative side effect of all citizens should reside in the one region that doesn't change sides: Kanto. This might cause problems in the future, therefore the current lease is only temporary.
Given there has been zero transparency about how the money will the used, and I for sure have not benefitted at all from previous rental deals, there is no way in hell that I will be in support of this.
Thank you for the comment. Luckily some of us do this for the community, even when the money can be stolen by others. You're right that there has been little to no transparency sometimes or actually most of the times, but claiming someone's guilty until proven innocent is a view I cannot support. We play this game by our own rules, your extra rules don't apply. Nevertheless, I accept that we can't win your support.
I have not claimed anyone is guilty, I have only said that I cannot support this, so long as there is no transparency about how the money will be used. You're not exactly making an attempt to win my support either, since you are not trying to address any of my concerns. Would you like to shed some light on how this money will be used? What exactly is being done for the community?
Sorry, I cannot respond directly under your comment. I wrote this article to explain what is happening, even though I am not in power, I am just a mediator. I consider this as community service.
Consequently, it is not my duty to take care of the money, that is for elected leaders or for dictators. As a glimmer of hope, the dictator promised me to keep this renting fee untouched. That (promise) is what I could deliver you, but if you can do more in my place, feel free to act upon your belief.
I am helping those who need it, it was never my goal to win anyone's support. I wish you however a wonderful day!
