My fellow Americans,

Thank you for electing me to another tour in the oval office! I am truly honored to have your support. It was most unfortunate that my friend Alexander did not make the ballot, I was looking forward to our election as I know it would have been close.

I apologize for not writing sooner. I was going to write an article last night while intoxicated, but I passed out instead. Truly unfortunate. Regardless, I am here this evening with a handful of issues that I want to speak to you about.

The first, is also the most troubling. According to this article, the government of France has been supporting a Political Take-Over of the United States. This is extremely concerning, considering that France was considered to be a close ally of the United States. We were members of Terra together, and France had been gracious in allowing us the use of Aquitaine.
I have reached out to the French President, to ascertain the truth behind this article. There is no doubt in my mind that there are French agents in America, and I have asked the CIA to probe the depth, and level of their infiltration.

Regardless, I strongly condemn any attempts by foreign nations, friendly or hostile to internally influence the United States’ policies, and governments. We will do everything in our power to ensure that the United States Government is filled with people that are working for America, not for any other nation.

This was also somewhat surprising considering the source that it came from. Although we have had rocky relations in the past with the United Kingdom, I appreciate that they respect our sovereignty as a Nation, even when many of our supposed allies do not. For today, the United Kingdom is not our enemy. They have done us a great service by exposing this debauchery. Although we continue to stand on opposite sides of the battlefield, I tip my hat to you blokes this evening.

There is also the matter of former President PigInZen’s latest article. I know PiZ, and I have an enormous amount of respect for him and for the things he accomplished while President. I also know LordRahl2 from our time in the Army together. Both men are upstanding, and full of integrity. I trust them, and am deeply embarrassed that a commanding officer would act like that, and abuse his power so blatantly.
Let me state forcefully, that I do not condone this sort of behavior, and it is not representative of the type of soldiers and officers in the Special Forces, nor the United States Armed Forces as a whole.
We are better than this, and I expect better than this from my officers.
I have asked the Secretary of Defense to investigate this matter, and I will be sure to follow up with disciplinary action if necessary.

In less scandalous news, I am very pleased to announce my Vice President. I have asked TorrinTheGreat to fill the role.

Torrin is a new player, being only a few months old. He is the current Party President of the Conservative People’s Party, and is also an officer in Flight Training.
It is my hope that he can experience the Executive Department first hand and use it as a base of knowledge to begin his career in the United States. I see potential in him, and think that his eagerness, and willingness to learn will bring some excitement to my team. Good luck!
