Today a meeting was held between Indonesian Foreign Minister and his team and Pakistan's State Department, as Secretary of State I was representing Pakistan. The meeting started at about 0600 hrs (eRepublik Time) and was hosted by Pakistan. The two sides discussed Indonesian & Pakistani relations and our future as joint force in Asia. Issues such as trade, defence and military co-operation came under discussion. Indoensia re-assured pakistan that they are always ready to help Pakistan without even thinking twice. I also re-assured Indonesia that we will offer all the support we can to the people of Indonesia and will always put Indo-Pak friendship first.

We also discussed the regional issues concerning South Asia both countries agreed that solving Iran and India region conflict is instrumental to the successful and powerful South Asia, both countries believed that achieving peace and unity between Iran and India is important for the security of the region from extral threats.

Issues such as good trade ties also came under discussion and it was decided that a meeting of Pakistan's Secretary of the Treasury and Indonesian government will be held to discuss good economic relations between the two nations.

During the meeting Indonesian Foreign Minister asked for Pakistan's assurance that we are to stay one of the best friend nations in the region and I told them that Indonesia can always rely on Pakistan. I believe that Indonesia is the powerful force of this region and having a great friend like Indonesia is a big achievement for Pakistan. I believe that a Powerful Indonesia is important for Powerful Pakistan and a Peaceful Region.
