[MoFA] Updates For Day 998

Day 998, 13:14 Published in United Kingdom North Macedonia by Foreign Office
Hello!

Its been another harsh few days, as the main talking point here has to have been the Canadian invasion. Fair to them, they must have spent alot of Gold in pushing us back to Vestlandet; I know, fighting in Scotland, they've got a lot of good fighters. Special call out to Acacia Mason, who I went for in Scotland; ya know, celebrity kill and all. Unfortunately... Mason sent me with my tail between my legs. xD

Europe is starting to develop more as I envisaged it before the hacks. The United Kingdom has been a hub of war lately, with its tos and froes with Ireland and Canada. Yesterday, in a tight pair of battles the eUK nabbed Dublin and the South East of Ireland. These battles were syonymous with the attempt from Russia to try and take Scotland away from the Canucks, however they lost. Tonight, the eUK then took back Scotland, however there is still the battle for Vestlandet on, and this will be a major battle. The High Oil region is highly valued by the Government, and you can bet Canada will be well up for it against Phoenix forces. Currently under Canadian control are the North East of England and Northern Ireland but both are pretty irrelevant against Vestlandet. Also under attack is Yorkshire and Humberside. The other main hub of activity is Hungary, who are fighting Croatia, Romania and Poland. After they secured Southern Great Plain, there was a short lull, however this was not sustained. Hungary attacked two Romanian regions, and then Croatia, Romania and Poland reacted together, attacking NW Croatia, Northern Great Plain and Galicia and Lodomeria respectively. While Hungary won one and lost one of their attacks, these three attacks have yet to end and all are worth watching.

In Asia, things have been relatively quiet. Poland still hasn't made the attack on Liaoning, which was fortold back in the Keers regime, and now part of its landbridge has been broken by resistance forces. This is going to stall Poland, who gave their entry to Asia, Kyushu, back to Japan. This shows the Polish fully intend to get Lioaning out of Serbia this time. In other news, the Philippenes signed a peace with China, and decided to sign an MPP with Ireland, bringing them directly into major conflict if the eUK pushes further into Ireland.

North America has gone a bit more lively, obviously. Canada takes centre stage with their ballsy and admirable attack on the UK, which was intiated after Acacia survived an impeachment attempt. They are pushing hard and spending Gold very heavily, and are laying the brickwork for future battles to come. The USA are continuing the trend of taking regions that Poland no longer need away, resecuring Nevada and West Virginia, while doing general housekeeping; embargoes, alliances, constructions and new citizens messages have all been debated there recently.

Things are eerily quiet in South America. Argentina are occupying themselves with fortifying Bolivian Altiplano, while Brazil action comes through its allies. Peru continues to try and make peace with Brazil for whatever reason, and there is nothing much in Venezuela. The rest of the area is more or less dead.

In the Pacifics, South Africa continue their attempts to enter the Brolliance. Apparently it is set to happen but not finalised yet as the USA are still not satisfied with the safety of the move, but the wheels are in motion. Indonesia has been wrapping up MPP's, while not much else has been happening around the area to note.

Thanks for reading, and I promise more articles in the coming days. We'll have a special something to talk about with Brazil, and an article about ONE, a new alliance formed partially from the remnants of Sol.
