[MoFA] Updates For Day 995

Day 995, 06:57 Published in United Kingdom North Macedonia by Foreign Office
Hai guys!

Its been a turbulent 5 days for me as MoFA, and it has been a turbulent one for most countries across Phoenix. The well publicised hackings have been rife and they have been the focus of the last few days; ensuring that these hacks do not affect us too badly. The Admins claimed to have everything sorted now however still, our MPP's are messed up with Hungary and Russia, so we have to wait further to get these sorted!

Here in Europe, there hasn't been much going on that you can be sure isn't to do with hacks. Ireland took Dublin back spectacularly, and now Canada have decided to get in on the act and attack Scotland and Wales. Serbia secured Slavonia from Croatia, and Hungary beat back Poland when they attacked the high iron region of Podolia. Currently they are under attack in Southern Great Plain by Romania, who are winning comfortably. Nothing can be sure though, with a good portion of the battle yet to come.

In Asia, the main movement is still between Poland and China/North Korea. After the latter made the passage for Poland to move towards the Serbian fortress of Liaoning, by taking American, Japanese and Chinese regions, Poland have been slowly moving closer until recently when they have been held up in Zhejiang. They haven't gotten any further yet but being only a few swaps away from Liaoning, the attack will have to come soon. Other than that, Malaysia, who apparently are under PTO, are fighting the Philippenes. The Malaysians were to give all the regions to the Philippenes, but the latter failed to capture the final region, and the PTO group are pushing to take back regions so Malaysia is still under their control.

North America has been fairly quiet recently. The USA hasn't been directly involved on the military side, but has been sowing up its MPP structure and embargoing their enemies, while Canada have already been mentioned earlier. It is worth looking in their media for the presidential announcement over these attacks; the CP claims it will drum up activity, and notes there may be a possibility of a counter attack. It is a bold move by the Canadians and we will see them on the battlefield. Mexico has also been quiet since they were beaten back in the Canary Islands.

South America, for its size, is still weak outside of Brazil and Argentina. Pretty much the whole continent has been quiet for the last few days, since the hackers messed about with Argentina and Bolivia.

In the Pacific area, a key battle in the last few days was the resistance war in Western Australia, against Indonesia. While it didn't look likely to come of anything while Indo still has Australia under PTO, its still interesting to see it be attempted by someone out there. There have also been strong mutterings that South Africa is in line to join the Brolliance, but the USA said no due to the risk of presence of multi's and PTO'ers in the country.
