Hello citizens of the eUnited Kingdom

I am here today to tell you the tale of the next stage of the War with the United States of America.

The UK, after discussing with the eMerican government, as well as reflecting on our recent victories both on the battlefield, and on the chessboard (Ty Sir Jimmy) have agreed to their proposal for a training war.

This war was not wanted by the UK, as you all know prompted when the USA attacked us due to supposedly receiving no reply to our training war request, which may or may not be true, depending on which government minister you ask 😉
Yui does claim that the reason for the war is the fact congress voted to pay itself, and claims that now congress have turned down this decision, that a training war has been agreed to, however the case simply is because we as UK Citizens want what is best for the country. Congress did not vote down the law in order to attain a training war with the USA, and my expectation was indeed to wait until after the CP election to see if the next CP would be receptive. However for whatever reason it may be claimed, Yui has today expressed wish in a training war.

For the most part, we have agreed to it.

The Training War will revolve around Wales, West Midlands, and North West of England, while the rest of the USA controlled regions will be regained by the UK.

Now, the legislation is sketchy here, so it has indeed gone to Congress for a vote, or will be going depending on the time you are reading this article. Woldy sums it up pretty neatly here:

Hello Congress.
That wunderbar MoFA AMD has reached an agreement he and I feel is of great benefit it to us regarding the US war.
That agreement is to consider the war a training war from this point onwards, with the only contested UK regions being NWoE, Wales and WM.
This is a great resolution to the impromptu invasion and something we shall be enacting immediately. (Yes that means the 50k CO proposal is now moot). This means the return of eUK regions not mentioned above inc our key tax income regions. It also means ceasing hostilities and marks a return to cordial relations.
The constitution isn't entirely clear on what the role of Congress is in the event of a War being made a TW, as TWs do not strictly exist as an IG proposal and the gov can fight however it wants. But as the terms of the war originally voted on by Parliament has changed it seems appropriate to hold a vote to make it henceforth binding.
I am calling therefore for a vote to approve the terms of the TW.


We will be treating it as a training war, and when the vote is ratified by congress it will be binding.
