A SH*T GUIDE TO THE 'LEAGUE OF ALLIES' EVENT
An event! Whoop! Hooray! Something is happening!
At first I must admit I'm glad to see this event for two reasons. Firstly, you earn rewards by fighting for your allies and is a step towards the fabled 'True Ally' medal that many players have mooted to offset the 'True Patriot' bias (where players often overkill in citizenship battles) and give players whose nations aren't at war an incentive to tank for allies.
Secondly it seems to be a relatively 'fair' competition. Though of course those willing to spend or already have the most resources will top the overall league, the daily targets are achievable for most active players. The groups are divided using an undisclosed formula (this seems to be the case quite often recently and sounds like throwing a dart at an idea board) but based on the competition criteria it's fair to assume that it's worked out on a player's average energy pool. (Use houses and buy packs = Montgomery Group...Use neither = Julius Caesar).
Anyway. That's just a personal opinion but long may 'fair' competitions continue, especially ones where new players can achieve something.
What Are The Rewards?
In this not particularly easy to follow chart you'll see what the rewards are and underneath each amount the energy/points require to achieve it (from the previous reward).
On top of that there is a “League” whereby you can win additional gold based on your final position...
...however early indications show that you might have to work extra hard to top Adminlandian players...
How To Get All The Rewards
It depends on the type of player you are and what resources you have.
Are you sitting on 1000s of energy bars?
Well quite simply you can just stroll up at any point of the day and smash through the rewards if you want.
Don't have much/want to part with much?
Firstly, if you can buy/activate any houses that you can to maximise energy recovery and increase your energy pool.
COLLECT THE ENERGY RECOVERY REWARDS FROM THE WEEKLY CHALLENGE!
Mo' Energy = Mo' Energy
Keep on fighting as regularly as possible, the sooner you earn the energy recovery rewards the more energy you will have per day. (i.e. if you need 100 Prestige Points to unlock the next energy recovery then as soon as you have 1000* health then dump it)
*Remember that in EPIC BATTLES you earn additional prestige points requiring less energy to hit targets.
Where to fight?
I've seen a few people bemoan the new module change in regards to deployments...yeah it looks a little bit crappy but I suppose it gives nations at war something to do...we did have a war, dunno what happened to that?
Basically though we have no control over where or when we are deployed. The best we can do is ask. Our alliance are in a near permanent state of Training War so expect us to be regularly deployed for them. Also so far as I know some of the larger nations (Serbia, Romania etc) have a gentleman's agreement to rotate allies around. So we may be deployed one moment but not the next.
The simplest way is to go onto the Wars page and if you see a 'handshake' icon then it means that fighting for that side earns you point in the competition. If there is no ticket then it means we are deployed and you don't need to pay for your moving.
Where's mah spoon?

- Activate Houses
- Activate Rewards
- Find Qualifying Battle
- Smash Fight Button As Often As Possible
Good luck o7
IMPORTANT NOTE: When fighting there will be a progress indicator (the circle thingy) showing you how far you have to go to earn a point.
Incomplete points are NOT carried over into the next battle. So if you can, remain in that battle, wait until you have enough energy and complete that point!

"Smash As Often As Possible" is always a solid advice
a vote for this 😃
Nicely done, and I hope you survived the bathroom remodel. Been there, done that... never want to build or restore another house in my life!
It's absolutely atrocious tbh. I tracked down the company that did the original installation to find they went into administration with seven pending court cases which comes as no surprise. Worst thing is, as a building contractor myself, when the missus sees my face go white I can't hide how bad it is.
EEK! There's a reason my husband and I do almost all construction work ourselves... other than having the shell of the house up at the farm built (and having to correct some of what was done) and the stuff like propane that requires a licensed installer, we did it all. Even the electrics (that was one of my jobs....)
The worst part is the mould. That smell lingers for ages... we had a similar situation in the WC in our main home, when I opened the cabinet to find everything soaking wet and a failed valve for the cold water supply.
Entertaining and informative at the same time, thank you and well deserved vote.
Good contest but annoying that having missed Day 1 because of an internet outage there's no way you can catch up and get the medal, because it requires every day - so just have to settle for the gold rewards
Another s**ing money making fiddle!
