Beste burgers van eNederland,

In het kader van het te verhogen transparantie niveau, presenteert het Ministerie van Cultuur en Propaganda de volgende oplossing. Wij zijn van mening dat de problematiek omtrent transparantie een gebrek aan wisselwerking betreft tussen enerzijds de eNederlandse bevolking en anderzijds de eNederlandse overheid.

Kordak I zal haar uiterste best doen dit proces te doorbreken, door informatie te verstrekken waar nodig, maar darnaast ook onze burgers de gelegenheid te geven zelf de interactie met de overheid op te zoeken, met uiteindelijk aanvullende transparantie ten gevolge.

Daarom presenteert het Ministerie ''Vraag! Uw Regering''. Elke burger kan een vraag inzenden aan de regering, een ministerie en/of leden van de regering. Elke maandag, beginnend 17-02-2014, zullen alle vragen met hun relevante antwoorden worden gepubliceerd.

Zoals ik al eerder heb verklaard in mijn positie als Minister, ben ik van mening dat de communicatie tussen eNederlandse burgers en de eOverheid een verantwoordelijkheid is die beide kanten delen. De eNederlandse burgers moeten niet passief zijn in hun zoektocht naar informatie, noch moet de overheid dat zijn in het verstrekken ervan. Dat is echter geen excuus voor de overheid om minder te doen op dit gebied. Het verstrekken van deze artikelen is een van mijn speerpunten om de communicatie tussen burgers en de overheid te verbeteren, het ideale voorbeeld hoe het volgens mijn visie zou moeten/kunnen werken. Helaas ontvangen wij tot dusver weinig interactie.

Een ander belangrijke prioriteit ligt er bij burgers attent maken op het bestaan van de belangrijke communicatie kanalen, voor welke prijs dan ook. Dit is vooral belangrijk na onze recente bevolkingsgroei, op stoom gebracht door de Nederlands-Duitse oorlog (welke onze bevolking al met meer dan 20% heeft laten groeien. Binnenkort zal er daarom een campagne op poten worden gezet om aandacht te vragen voor onze nationale forum en IRC kanaal.

Garmr vroeg:
''De Nederlandse economie geeft in vergelijking met het buitenland erg lage lonen, terwijl deze erg hoge (en vrij willekeurig bepaalde) prijzen vraagt voor tanks. Heeft de overheid een plan om hier verandering in te brengen?''

Tot nu toe zijn er geen plannen binnen het kabinet om de genoemde zorg te behandelen, wat misschien ook boven de autoriteit en kunnen van overheden uitgaat. De globaliteit en mechanisme van de eRepublik economie maakt het erg moeilijk om blijvende maatregelen te forceren, tenzij excessief veel geld, tijd en moeite erin wordt gestopt. Dezelfde werking maakt het ook mogelijk voor burgers om zichzelf te helpen op dit gebied, door gebruik te maken van de buitenlandse (banen) markt.

Ik heb je zorg op het forum gezien over dat eNL geen oorlog zou kunnen voeren, wanneer de bevolking geen wapens kan kopen. Dát is iets waar de overheid wel actief bij in kan grijpen en ook doet, wat de Nederlands-Duitse oorlog heeft laten zien: Grote Combat Order bedragen zijn uitgegeven en grote pakketten goederen (eten en hoge kwaliteit wapens) zijn uitgedeeld aan de eNederlandse bevolking.

Within the context of increasing transparency of the eDutch government, the Ministry of Culture and Propaganda presents you the following solution. We believe the issue of transparency is one of (a lack) reciprocity between the eDutch population on one side, and the eDutch government at the other side.

Kordak I will actively pursue to break this process, by giving out governmental information when needed, but on the other hand by giving and stimulating our population the option to actively interact with their government, which may include seeking information and improving transparency as final result.

Therefore the Ministry introduces ''Ask! Your Government''. Each citizen can send in a question to the government, ministries and/or governmental officials. Each Monday, starting the 17th of February, all questions will their answers will be published.

"Can you give us a list of things that you want to do to improve the communication between the citizens and the Government?"
As I've pointed out before in my position as Minister, I believe the communication between the eDutch citizens and the eGovernment is a responsibility of both sides. The eDutch citizens shouln't be passive in their quest for information, nor should the government be in providing it. That is no excuse, however, for the government to do less on this area. Providing this series of articles is one of the main points in our attempts to improve the communication between citizens and the government, a prime example of how it should work. Sadly, we only receive little interaction so far.

Another priority is making people aware of communication channels, by all means possible. This is especially important with our recent population growth, fueled by the Dutch-German war (which has increased our population by more than 20😵. Soon there will be such a campaign to attract attention to our national forums and IRC channel.

So far, there are no plans within this government to address this issue, which perhaps goes above the authority and capabilities of governmental powers. The globalness and mechanism of the eRepublik economy would make it very hard to force lasting measures to solve this, unless excessive money, time and efforts are spent. The same mechanics also make it possible for citizens to help themselves in this regard, by using foreign (job) markets to their advantage.

I've seen your concern on the forums that eNL can't fight wars, when the population can't buy guns. That is something the government does actively interfer with, as the Dutch-German war has shown: Massive Combat Order sums have been spent, and large amounts supplies (food and high quality tanks) have been given to the Dutch population.
