I'm not even going to mention the hypocrisy in Acacia Mason's recent article, okay maybe I will:
At the beginning of the article he thanks The Crimson Order party (also a military unit) for endorsing him. At the end of the article he condemns another Military Unit (CAF) for supposedly planning to get its own political party. Also in the article our president mentions that he agrees with the pardon of criminal Rolo Tahmasee who himself has PTOed multiple parties.
The only thing that the CAF is guilty of is trying to have a political to reflect its interests. So according to Mr. Mason, now certain groups are not allowed to participate in democracy in this country.
I'm completely unconvinced that this whole LSR 2 thing is real. I have seen no proof and this out of context screenshot will probably not change my mind. I believe that Acacia's actions are preemptive and his attempts to slander the CAF for trying to have a say in government is sickening.
I expected more. We expected more.

We really don't know what the CAF is accused of yet.
TCO party and the MU are separate. Different forums. Different management team. I am Major in the MU and member of the CPF.Most of the top ranking people belong to parties other then the TCO.
From what I gather, the CAF just had to be transparent about their intentions, its the secrecy and LSR2 label that cast doubt.

Probably is an apolitical clause in the CoC, but who follows that these days? Im just kidding, but seriously to claim that the TCO party and MU are separate is ridiculous.
Why? We worked hard at making them independent. Different management teams. No requirement to belong to both or the other. Come join the MU and see if you see in any cross discussion in the MU forums. I never see it. The only place is in the MU shout box in game. You do see shouts to show up for a vote or something.
Obviously they aren't 100% separate but one has no say in the other. Many members of the party are not members of the MU and vice versa. Only two of the executive from the MU are in the party (JRC and Crisfire).
No one has a problem with the CAF starting a party. It would be naive for anyone to think that they aren't already political anyway so a party would make them more legitimate. I don't even think many would have a problem with them taking one of the minor parties that are not used. The issue is that they kept it all secret and, allegedly, wanted to take over an active top 5 party.
I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with the two being connected. But what I'm saying is that both the MU and party have the same ideals and that the CAF should be allowed to do the same thing.
The main point of this is to show the hypocrisy the president is using.
'Tis true, TCOP and TCO MU are separate. I know it's hard for some people to believe, but all I can do is show them truth, I can not make anyone accept it.
As for the hypocritical accusations this article is throwing out, is based on bits and pieces of a larger article taken out of context. Including the part of agreeing with the pardon. Hypocrisy breeds hypocrisy.
PS: I'm not attacking you Supabeasty, you have every right to have strong emotions against this issue. You're right, there has been no proof, and a single screenshot isn't necessarily proof either. Hence why there's an investigation. May I suggest we both wait untill tomorrow to see the outcome and then we can accordingly as each of us sees fit?

The president did not bother to present any evidence to the public nor did he plan to. Sharing it only in CDC is an excellent way of slandering a good name.
Nothing stopping those involved from disclosing the information themselves.
Just glancing it over this looks like much to do about nothing. A few idiots with more time on there hands then brains who appear to have corrected by there own without an inquisition.
How can you say pardoning Rolo for PTOing, among other things and making a big deal about a supposed PTO by the CAF is not hypocrisy?

It was a lulz thing....... JSboutin claimed ownership of the thread and the idea, and then admitted that the current general and CO of the CAF said officially that it wasn't going to happen........
What more do you need?
