Hello citizens of the eWorld,

we are here today to announce an incredible double summer event.

The Guild of Free Journalists is going to organize both a writing contest for citizens and an International Competition for nations.

Here the details!



WRITING CONTEST FOR CITIZENS


Writing guides is one of the basic goals of the Guild of Free Journalists’ activities: sharing experience is surely one of the best ways to make other people improve and grow stronger.

However we have noticed that there is a sort of forgotten branch of guides: economy.

Very often articles talk about first steps, battles, alliances but we saw that there is a lack of good articles about the economical field.

After all, if you learn fastly how to gain money and manage your business you will have currencies and gold to grow and improve your impact on the battlefields.

So that’s why we chose this issue for the 1st GFJ’s Writing Contest.

Who → open to all citizen of the eWorld


What → writing a guide to the economic module


Where → you have to publish the article in English on your newspaper. Then link the article in the comments here below or send it by pm to the General Chairman.


When → are allowed to participate articles written between 6 July (Erepublik day 5342) and 20 July (Erepublik day 5346). The winner will be announced the 22 of July (Erepublik day 5348 )


Why → because you can win a prize. At stock exchange you have no choice: you win or you loose. The same will be in the competition: 1st placed article will gain 50 000 CC. As a money wizard, it won't be difficult for you to double them before dark!

The Jury will be composed by some of GFJ’s National Delegates and Local Collaborators. Every judge will give a vote from 1 to 5 to the article. Votes will be send to the General Chairman and will remain secret until the end of the contest.

National Delegates won’t be able to vote for articles coming from their nation. In this situation, it will be randomly selected the vote of one of the other National Delegates and attributed.

Egypt has a GFJ National Section

An Egyptian citizens submit an article

National Delegates will normally vote except the Egyptian one.

By an online random simulator, one between all the other submitted votes will be chosen and then placed as the one of the Egyptian National Delegate.



INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION FOR NATIONS

We all can notice that this game is not living a babyboom but it doesn’t mean that new players are totally absent. And we strongly believe that helping just a single citizen is better than leaving him alone!

For this reason we decided to declare July as the “Month of Knowledge” and to understand which is the best Educational Board/Ministry of Education of the eWorld.

So, during July, we invite Nations to publish a lot of useful informations to guide citizens at the discovery of all games related aspects.

At the end, we will know which nation has the best Ministry of Education of Erepublik.

Who → open to all Nations. Inscription is mandatory and must be send to the General Chairman. Only articles published after the registration will be considered participants to the contest.


What → writing an amount of useful Guides during the Month of Knowledge


Where → articles have to be published in english (adding also your national language translation will automatically give you 2 extra points) on the Official Newspaper you will choose at the moment of the inscription. GFJ will keep them monitored to give votes to published articles.


When → are allowed to participate articles written between 6 July (Erepublik day 5342) and 5 August (Erepublik day 5372). A weekly classific will be published to keep you updated and the final winner will be announced the 7 of August (Erepublik day 5373).


Why → because you can win glory for your nation and the title of best MinEdu of the e world! Again, 12 000 Q5 food will be awarded in order to help youngest players of the winner nation.

The Jury will be composed by some of GFJ’s National Delegates and Local Collaborators. Every judge will give a vote from 1 to 10 to the article. Votes will be send to the General Chairman and will remain secret until the end of every week.
