Introduction
Evening all, it's been 5 days since you went to the polls and elected me as your Country President. Thank you to all those who voted and to those who cast their vote for me especially.



Foreign Affairs
A steady start to the term with a hive of foreign affair activity. First of which I'd like to bring you news on is our training war with Ireland is soon to be resumed.

However in short we will hold a ping pong TW with Ireland between Mayo and Northern Ireland. We defend Northern Ireland and Ireland defends Mayo.

In my next update, I'm hopeful to share some of the further work our wonderful MoFA CptChazbeard. has been involved with.



Finance and Player Support

'Help to Buy' a Q1 House scheme

All UK citizens should be using a Q1 house as currently, you should gain extra currency across the 7 days the house is active from working overtime, the house will allow you to regenerate energy quicker, and also boosts the total energy you can hold.

Training Ground Grants

Upgrading your strength buildings is the best way to earn income as it allows you to receive Super Soldier medals much quicker. A Q4 Weights Room & Q4 Climbing Center (without any contract training) earns the most money of any training/contract combination. Together they will earn you 13.38g/month (0.446g/day) after you pay the daily training.

If you need support in upgrading your Training Grounds please get in touch. I feel the UK Government could provide tailored and consistent support in regards to upgrading TGs in order to improve the retention of newer players



Defence

Our training wars with Bulgaria, Serbia and the Netherlands continue to go well. Keep an eye on military orders if you need a reminder of where to hit and an eye out for messages from our excellent MoD JiminyChristmas on which resistance wars to support.

Please continue be very careful in not supporting any resistance wars not highlighted by the MoD or you could run the risk of being locked out from starting one for 7 days if it fails or worse locked into a resistance war not due to be started for a long time.



Weapons, Food and Gold for taking an amazing journey through the world famous training war grounds of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland

Most of you may recall an amazing journey that Erepublik took us on to celebrate their 12 years anniversary. This scheme is inspired by this event. If you don't remember, then this is a novel fun tedious to receive some free* weapons, food and gold.

*Will cost your time, energy, involve travel cost and screenshots however might be a fun tedious way to help continue to keep UK TWs running smoothly

Rules

Any UK citizen between Days 4,679 and 4,693 can claim one "prize" per region by meeting the conditions of the region.

So in total you can scoop 100 Q7 weapons, 500 Q7 food and 30 Gold. (Privately donated as this is a bit of a test)

The kills must be for the UK in the right campaign conditions i.e. a Resistance War the UK is meant to win or a direct war the UK is meant to win according the latest UK Military orders. The regions and conditions are those of our agreed TWs. These kills need to be supported by a screenshot sent to me.

The newspaper article/s need to "show willing", will be subjectively judged however the criteria won't be too high. Primarily would like to provide an opportunity for non-fighting citizens a chance to participate. An article can only be used to meet one of the regions conditions.

The conditions can be met in any order however please pay attention RW in certain regions will only occur a number of times across a 14 day period. Plus it assumes that the TW with Ireland mention above starts in the next 14 days

I'll try not to change to "rules" however I might need to adjust things, and further clarify elements of this, if I haven't put into words by vison of this.
