I wouldn't be a "good" dictator if I didn't raise taxes 😃

Jokes aside, we have for a long time had taxes at a minimum and thus practically no income from taxes. This does not mean we are bankrupt - far from it - fortunately there are other means of ensuring a nice stack of cash for a rainy day. However, we must consider whether taxes can be a relevant source for further income. In the time to come the government intend to experiment a bit with the taxes to see whether it is worth the effort to have a slightly higher tax rate. If it turns out the income is simply to tiny and/or the pain by the tax payers are too great, we will reset it to the minimum. The idea is not to raise the tax to anything crazy and if you feel the increase in taxes becomes a pain, please let me know asap!

Hopefully not. That is one of the benefits of the protective dictatorship. A PTO is rather impossible as the dictator has all the power. Even a MTO is unlikely as it will require 1 mil for removing the current dictator and 1 mill more to put in a new one. Besiddes the Dainish treasury is not accesible by just anyone. Not even I have access to the cash, so even in the unlikely event of a succesfull PTO/MTO there will be practically no cash left behind - potential PTOers/MTOers knows that.
