[CP] Proposal for the next step for better eJapan
Silent Warrior
Dear citizens of eJapan,
In this second article as a CP, a will have only a brief look at foreign affairs. Accent will be more on internal issues.
I told you in my first CP article that eJapan will be more active in Nebula HQ. This is the new Nebula HQ for this month:
We will be working in Nebula on writing of the new statute, trying to achieve a goal of improving organization of Nebula and functioning of alliance.
Our allies have a lot of important battles this week, so I call all of you to help them and to shoot on the battlefield according to the battle-orders, and according to the current standings on the battlefield in your division. We must show our care about them, and how loyal ally our eNation is. For me, there is not bigger satisfaction than helping friend who needs help.
About internal politics: we have now whole month of political ceasefire in eJapan. Last big crisis we had on the last political party presidential elections (Reminder: first one Tsunami member candidates himself for PP of TLS; then was contra-reaction of JSDF member for SSG PP candidature), which was solved on the best possible way: diplomatically with negotiations. Part of the deal was that publishing of provocative and offensive articles against other side should stop, and I'm glad that both of the sides had respected that.
Now after one month of this first step of calming-down political situation, I think that is the time for make the next step on this 'journey' of making better interpersonal relations in eJapan (which is not be easy and fast because of the deepness of the problems in the past, but it is good that we are on that path).
So, this is proposition for the 'next step':
We do not want to change this formal dictatorship, because potential external threat about hostile dictatorship of a foreigner. We are not only country that have same concerns, just look at the example of the recent domestic coup in Cuba, or how all South-American Asteria and Pro-Asteria countries work. Some eCountries were literally demolished with foreigner coup. We do not want to have same threat over Japan. I do know that majority of political opposition prefers democracy (even it was big part of opposition that supported first coup attempt in eJapan).
But still, even at the first look there is no solution about this two opposite solutions, I think that we can find one
🙂
One our ally gave me the idea how we can manage this: officially that we have dictator, but still that we have the system where we will talk about everything, and that dictator votes like parliament majority decides, after talks about every theme that needs to be voted (or political party leaders or party representatives, where everyone of them will have number of votes according to the number of congress members: something like high council of eJapan). The best name for that system is 'Constitutional Dictatorship'.
I understand all of you that support formal democracy, but this dictatorship module ruined classic democracy in this game. And you must understand that good part of oppositional side had done first coup attempt, so that is the reason that some of the people from our leading political coalition will always have right to tell: ''If they won first coup, we will not have any rights in eJapan''.
So, solution is on a half way for now, we must build mutual trust and the process will be long and hard, but I want to all of us start that 'journey'.
I would like that political leaders of the opposition send me IGM, to continue our talk about this proposal, and if you accept this, to mutually find solution how to technically solve this 'Constitutional dictatorship' way of political functioning. Just to know, existing forum of SSG is not solution that our side will accept, but we can talk about any other solution that is technically possible.
Sincerely yours,
CP of eJapan, Silent Warrior

I'm a little ahead of you. xD

And now, here too: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/another-case-for-constitutional-dictatorship-a-bridge-to-democracy-2538286/1/20
A mock constitution is in the outline stages, and it will have to go through the ULJ, then the rest of the Tsunami, before anyone presents it formally to the government. But it is a big step forward.
Also, the Tsunami boards (note, they're for everyone, not just the SSG) are already formatted to handle the day-to-day operations of a hypothetical government, and would be the quickest, easiest, and cheapest way to conduct business. Think about reconsidering.
Thank you for your suggestions and for participating in this. Yes, you were faster than me, but our coalition also work on a democratic way, and I couldn't wrote this article before discussion about this in our coalition was not over. About Tsunami forum: I agree that that is is the technically fastest way, but it is the problem for majority in our side to accept that forum as a solution because of the problems in the past between our two sides.
We will talk these days to find solution that is acceptable for both sides.
"was solved on the best possible way: diplomatically with negotiations. Part of the deal"
With who?
My first reaction was that what he writes is false because Padre continues to publish troll articles... But then I remembered there was no such deal, so nothing to break 😉 Not that I support cheap provocation – what I wrote in the SSG article was serious and still holds.
Also, Silent, no one will have the right to say what you wrote about citizen rights, because it didn't happen. On the contrary: we had our rights reduced when you won. So while I understand why they would feel that way, this is just an irrational red-scare type of argument - like with coup threat. Let's not resort to that if we want to have real negotiations.
What rights? Arguments, not empty words.
Btw the best solution would be to create a constitution for the country with rules, created together, followed by everyone. And then the usage of a joint eJapanese forum should be much better and transparent for every citizen.
That happened before.. and geezus and the serbs broke those rules like a day or 2 afterwards..
