Apologies if you were looking forward to the show - Asteria pulled out leaving Montenegro as our solo act in Scotland…

Even so - the threat of them landing prompted several reactions here locally in the UK. Montenegro accidentally accepting their AS will sit them in the highlands for the moment, cancelling out the NE on Turkey.

We have several fronts to keep an eye on - hopefully back to normal soon-ish if all goes well...

Financial Irresponsibility (again)

With a week left of the term I’d rather keep the ball rolling on what to waste our taxes on; other than making more money on the monetary market for the hell of it…

The current suggestions in mongress are subsidies for everyone to get to ‘chief master sergeant’ air rank and a q1 ‘council house’ on us for new players/the rest as a one off.

But to be honest one thing the discussion has highlighted is that p****** away money doesn’t mean much without a functional service in education and help on how to… play the game in the first place

I think first and foremost, an apology is due on behalf of this and the past ~20 odd governments. We’ve let the MoE become nothing more than either a ceremonial cabinet post or more historically a bit of a freak show display...

As there are no real guides easily available and the wiki is either useless or misleading - we may need a few more knowledgeable lads here in the UK to make a start on this properly.

Part of this is working out how ‘start up’ funds for new players could be more effective than just throwing them cc or a random q1 house off a list. And I hope that we’d be happy and able to help some of the rest of us with support and advice from this too.
