Citizens of eUSA,
Greetings to you, and salutations from the Office of the President.
We need to talk about the sudden and urgent military operation that we participated in just last night.
As I mentioned to you in my first article as CP, the only thing that truly matters to any Country President is summed up in the answer to the following question: what is best for eUSA?
And I believe that our period of neutrality has been very good for us. President Bubblar made a very difficult decision to leave the Code alliance, despite taking criticism.
Briefly reviewing the reasons for that departure, we recall a history of uneven relationships within Code that devolved further once our NAP with Asteria was in place. Code was, at least for eUSA, an alliance that never truly came together. And when circumstances became difficult, it all came apart for us quickly.
I speak for most of my fellow government leaders when I say that we are glad we left. Many of us still enjoy good friendships with some of the individuals whose citizenship places them in the Code alliance, but from the standpoint of international diplomacy, eUSA has distanced herself quickly and she is not looking back.
Fast Forward to now.
It was my intention to enjoy the relative ease of neutrality.
Our NAP is the Foreign Affairs version of “cruise control”, and given the fact that we are in the dog days of RL summer, that sounded like a pretty good deal.
Then, as my administration’s additions to our Foreign Affairs team got acquainted with the mechanics of coordination that is taking place between USA and Serbia, UAE, Columbia, Iran, Bulgaria, Romania, Portugal, and our other TW partners, something became immediately clear.
Asteria HQ has organized itself with very-high-functioning channels of communication from HQ outward such that I/we, a mere training war partner, feel like a full member of a team.
I was not expecting that.
And so while we were still hearing the echoes from the pro-Code voices criticizing us over our departure, we are being treated with dignity by the members of the Alliance who had just months earlier been running train over us.
And being the new kid on the block, I have to say, I’m impressed.
Yesterday, we actually got a little taste of what high-level coordination looks like. We were involved in an operation with one of our Training War partners, namely Iran.
They were facing a strong resistance from Chile in Zona Sur. We were asked to participate in that defense.
And we did provide a solid boost to the Iranian forces which eventually held Chile back.
Five of the top 20 damage dealers were wearing the Stars and Stripes, along with 10 of the top 40.
12 Medals were taken by the likes of King Harambe, Gnilraps, WhydoIbothertoo, Captain Patrick, and others.
But more than the grace and acuity of our own fighters, what impresses me most about the joint operation with Iran was its very purpose.
We were asked to offer our damage to the Zona Sur operation because our Training War partners in Asteria were protecting Paraguay.
That’s right, Paraguay.
In the words of one Asterian official, “even though Paraguay got wiped, their damage and hard-fighting attitude was impressive, so we found a solution, and yesterday we freed them.”
That’s what happened, folks. After 40 mind-numbing days of Hot Summer Boredom; after 40 days of battling each other for the “first hit”; after 40 days of chasing 5G+4G+3G+3G, we finally fought a meaningful fight.
We partnered with eIran and we helped Paraguay - another former Training War partner - establish security on what few borders they have.
In short, Argentina was attacking Pamas, hoping to gain a border with Paraguay (red arrows), so Chile RW’d Zona Sur to distract Iran’s damage.
This was a legitimate military action, and we got to play!
For the winning side!!!
So I want to thank Asteria for including us in that battle, I want to congratulate Iran for their victory, I want to celebrate with Paraguay for her security, and I want to thank every eUS fighter who dropped damage in Zona Sur last night.
I also pass along the following thanks from Faraz.RevengeR, the Iranian Campaign Hero from Zona Sur:
Hello there, I saw some Americans were fighting for us against Chile during the night time including you. I wanted to thank you guys personally, we appreciated it. O7
One final note:
This is a benefit of our current NAP. We were given the option to participate in a serious operation to protect an unallied nation. We decided our nation's fighters needed a meaningful battle to wage, so we jumped in with both feet.
And I’m glad we did.

In a few words... "we don't care about any alliance and or trust. We just want to be in the wining wave."
Well, I was expecting this after the NAP.
Actually, it's "alliance" and "trust" that we found lacking elsewhere. These are the precise things we want, and I am starting to think that where they can be found, winning will follow. I wasn't involved in the breakdowns in our previous alliance, but I've heard the stories and read some of the logs. I am not blaming anyone specifically, but I can accurately say that eUSA did not experience "alliance" or "trust" among those with whom she was partnered.
It wasn't "losing" that drove us away. It was uneven relationships.
But if your problem was against CODE why are you not fighting them and fighting ANDES who was always there for eUSA? And the the eUSA was always there for us too.
It's easy to be Asteria friends but not put your country in risk against Croatia, Greece and Turkey.
But then you go and your first help is against the one who really had a good time with your country?
As a Brazilian ambassador during that difficult time it's hard to read that and don't see a lack of consideration.
We are in a neutral position, and have been evaluating our working relations with almost everyone. Our action with Iran is representative of where we feel we have received the greatest amount of respect. It is very simply that.
If that is the image that you want to pass I will let you know that this is not what we're seeing.
You clearly said in the article and in comments that you feel like following the next steps on being pro-asteria.
Of course you need to keep in contact with every country possible, but after this article I'm pretty sure that you made the eUSA less neutral than what you said to me.
All I have said in my article is that "so far I am impressed" with "Asterian coordination" and the "dignity" with which we have been treated.
I also said that they make us "feel" like team-members even though we are "merely training war partners".
If you can quote me elsewhere as saying anything else, please do.
I also thank you for handling these discussions with such decorum. You are certainly also quite respectful in your comments and questions.
"Hitoyoshi: Good luck in your pro-Asteria way
Krapis: Thank you. So far it has been the most obvious path"
And in the article:
And being the new kid on the block, I have to say, I’m impressed.
Of course you never said we're pro-Asteria. But you clearly said that you have the intention to be. And this is a game so the eUSA has all the rights to change sides.
I just feel like you guys are stepping in the toes of the ones who tried to help you out of the wipe.
Unfortunately a lot happened and we were not successful. Brazil is trying to survive itself it's being hard and I'm afraid that our society will die. But we're still trying to be loyal to the ones that helped us.
eBrazil and eUSA had a great time together while allies. Not everything was perfect (mistakes happen) but it was good. And I feel like the others countries of Andes may feel betrayed after this eUSA movement.
Still, I personally was expecting this change of way in your country. I hope the best for your community because it's really sad when people stop playing.
Ps: I always try to be respectful while discussing, even though some times it's hard. So thank you too for this good conversation.
CURRAHEE!
I guess it is true What they’ve been saying about the US, nothing but ass kissing whoever is at the top. Good for you, be the lapdogs they want you to be. Congrats fido.
Not true, though I understand where you are coming from.
What caused our departure from CODE was a lack of fundamental relationships. We stuck it out while losing badly while our alliance partners "sat out". If you think that through from a neutral perspective, I think you can see why we left.
I think the proper title is Flexing our knee
good one
There is so much difference in resources between Asteria and rest of countries. I do not see how do you enjoy it?
Like the old joke: "Four young men were beating an old man. I found that annoying. So, the five of us beat him harder".
May be... Americans really enjoy being the Bully Guy (like in RL).
We have a saying too. "When times are tough, you find out who your friends are." All the people calling us a**kissers were not/are not true friends.
Glad to no longer be surrounded by fakers. Hope all of you can eventually untwist your panties, but I'm not holding my breath.
Good luck with Iran and the others.
Sometimes actions speak louder than words.
I saved a lot bombs to put toward a meaningful battle. Glad we finally got something. o7
Seems that we are going the right way finally. Don't be bothered by people who calls us a**kissers. They weren't talking like that while we were in CODE.
He who loses, has the right to be angry.
