[CoC] Congress update

Dear Belgians!

Today I am writing this article to inform you about the work congress has done during the last month.

The best way to start is to talk about the new constitution and the new law book. These reforms remove decision making from the forum and give more power to in-game tools such as mass PMs for communication. The use of congress mass PM, means that debates are no longer visible to all Belgians nor the voting. Therefore my job as Chairman of Congress is to try present and inform you about work and decisions of congress.

Other activities in congress :

We had one rogue proposal about house taxes by B Air Sky Squadron, which was turned down.

After that vote there was long debate in congress about changing our taxes. Our current governor B Air Sky Squadron proposes what taxes should be increased and by how, but as congress didn’t see any increase in our money gains debate ended before voting.

We also signed MPPs with our allies: Spain, South Korea and the UK.

In the immigration department, we accepted one new citizen Wild-child after a debate in congress, while 3 other accounts were accepted by congressmen without congress debate or approval and 2 of them already left our country.

Within red boxes are illegal immigrants and the congressmen that accepted them without getting congress approval, while within the green ones are marked those who have respected congress procedures.

There was also a rogue proposal of our former MoD FilipuBajsic about declaring Sweden as natural enemy. Congress decided to turn it down as it would any rogue proposal, hoping there won’t be hard feelings from Swedish side. But as you have seen Sweden has already declared Belgium as natural enemy and has already conquered Flanders.

There was also a vote for new Chairman of Congress, who remained Gyantse. He was elected for new term as Chairman of Congress with 12 votes for, 0 against, and 4 abstained.
