WHPR [Day 1,021] - Slavonia, Elections, and Leadership

Slavonia

Finally, Croatia is whole. Croatia's most valuable region was returned in a landslide battle and I have to say I'm thrilled. Croatia is one of our staunchest allies, seeing them whole is as refreshing as a nice Dr. Pepper.

The battle wasn't even close. I only looked at 12:00 into the battle, and the Serbians only owned 3 tiles. It hasn't changed much all day. I must say, I'm happy the Croatians trusted the United States and Canada. The battle would end in our prime time, so if it had been close it would have been up to us.

I would like to say a quick thank you to the Serbians. They did a ton of damage and I'm quite impressed. More then that, they have shown classy attitudes in this loss. I truly appreciate that and it's nice to see that some Serbians are good sports. I would say just "Serbians", but then I couldn't troll them as much. That's not acceptable, I need to see trolling. It's my life-blood.

That's bro of you guys.

ATO Elections

ATO elections went swimmingly. Don't make fun of me for using the word swimmingly. Moving on. Australia finally beat the mechanically precise voters of Indonesia and will hopefully remain free.

We also won the Bosnian, North Corean, and Norwegian elections, all of which were contested. I would like to thank the admins for really trying this election. Removing all those multis and actually affecting the election was a huge thing. Keep at it. I appreciate it.

I'd like to thank all of you who voted ATO. It is really appreciated by our allies and it keeps them in the fight. Remember, follow instructions and do your part.

USA Elections

In the most ridiculous elections ever, Krems pulled out a win. I say ridiculous for a number of reasons.

1). I expected Krems to win in a landslide. The fact Cromstar was winning for most of the day was a huge surprise.
2). The multi-smash (Regan-style) at the end was insane.
3). It was so, so close.

I'd like to say congratulations to both candidates for such a close race and thank them for running such a clean campaign. I have absolutely no reason to question Cromstar's ethics. I sincerely doubt that he made multis to vote for him. I more believe that someone disliked Krems and sought to get revenge on him in some manner and making Krems lose the election seemed like the best way to do it.

Your leadership-elite

Your government won't be changing a whole lot because the administration likes the way its workers are performing (one Secretary of Media in particular, I heard), otherwise they would have been fired.

A major change, however is that we have a different Vice President. Colin Lantrip will be taking over for Publius in that role. I'd like to thank Publius for his great work last month and the time he spent helping America.

Unfortunately, a full cabinet list hasn't been finalized. We'll be sure to get that to you as soon as possible.

Secretary's note: With Krems' victory, I'll be remaining as your Secretary of Media. Sucks for you. I'll wait while you bawwwww. Now, I'll cry. There goes an hour of sleep/free time every night. Oh well. I do it because I love you, America. More then that, I love the fuzzy feeling I get when I read your comments. Even the Serbians. They make me feel nice too. So, looks like you're stuck with me as your sucky source of government news for the next month. Deal with it.

Don't hate me,

Kentel

Secretary of Media
