I don't really need to reply, this endorsement from Keithunder only pushes me further forward. However for the few people that don't know, and want to become more involved, Keith blindly plays identity politics. I'm bad not for what I've done, but the friends I keep; and they haven't done anything particularly bad, just bait a Keith who'll bring out the bully in those inclined.

How many Pirates do we have in government and positions of responsibility, behaving honorably and advancing the tired mess of a country we have in this eWorld (not a reference to the current CP - big picture).

I'm proud to be associated with the most successful & active player this country has. Not only is his military might enough to start and stop wars, his dedication irrespective of personal expense has given us a renewed vigor.

As to my speakership, people other than Keithunder are right to say I've brought parties together. I treat everyone equally, reaching out to Keith has never improved his one sided venom towards me due to my choice of party. There have been several occasions where I've stepped into conversations or things being done in the public forum that are either bad or would have led to a negative situation. Impartiality has been a valuable currency in smoothing over disagreements and getting congress members to take a different course. This isn't something visible, and will remain so.

My political position in right of center, that's traditional right of center, not alt/lite/sprite. My avatar like my 'jolly food fun' appreciation of certain combinations of digits, is the only truly honest response I can have to people like Keithunder fashioning a voodoo doll out of the ether to give credence to such rl groups.

Name me one other game where a player can buy an account/win and have respect? Genuinly interested in other games to avoid.

Some players open their wallet, and others don't. Each plays the game according to his means and the dynamic that ensues effects how everyone plays that game. There is no claim to an increased level of respect for playing a game, past 'oh look, aren't they good, puts in time/effort/money'.

The notion of respect for the underdog, the stalwart who's slowly risen from the bottom over time to a position of relative obscurity is a contrivance of the highly successful to maintain the status quo. Proving a map for the hundreds of hapless newbs to follow, that ensures their position is reinforced.

By the same logic, pack buying is similarly deserving of a lack of respect. So you can complain about the likes of Cro/Po/Bul/Ro, but how do you expect to ever no be subservient to them without people buying packs as part of their strategy.

The game is to advance by any means, that is allowed within the rules, anything else is meta.

Just about every pay2play browser game is full of people who have great accounts due to spending money. Plenty of them get the respect they deserve, as most of em know and understand the game thoroughly, most people don't spunk thousands of pounds on something they don't fully grasp. So yes, being able to splash the cash when needed and the willingness to do so is something that deserves respect. But eUK has always shown utter disrespect for those willing.

The way you phrase the accusation Rorytellusastory, makes it sound like 'he who shall not be named' just rocked up and started splashing the cash. You conveniently leave out that the player in question was a powerful account on his original before he vacated the game to pursue more important things. It would make sense that he would want a competitive account. Had the eUK had more of a account swapping culture, maybe we wouldn't be full of wanky accounts and struggling to survive in the Shit Tier rank of eCountries.
