Time 2B (somewhat) Srs: stewy 4 AFA PP

Why only somewhat? Welp, for starters, this is a game and taking things to seriously all the damn time kills all the fun to be had here. Ok, now on to being somewhat serious..



stewy, you're running for AFA PP and it seems like all you've been doing is having some lol's... what are the goals, what about Congress, what about Unity, what about the AFA people that stay if you win? Where's the platform? Are you even trying?

If there's one thing I've managed to learn from watching all the great writers in the game... it's that entertaining people is a must. If all I did was go "blah blah blah" all day, it wouldn't matter much what I said because people would just tune out. How do I know they would tune out? Simply put, it's what I would do in your place. You could be talking about the most important issue in the game, but if you don't keep my attention, I'm just nodding off halfway through and missing things. Although, now that I (hopefully) have managed to gain your attn., we'll get into the meat and potatoes.

Kongress...

Contrary to some beliefs, the congress list will NOT be filled with "blockers" from other parties, as that does absolutely nothing to help this party. We'll be trying to grow into greatness, and excluding our own people won't help that happen. I have no pre-made list, and come in with no promises of who will run. Those that are here and put in the work to make the party succeed legitimately will make the list to run. No gimmicks of "You must bring in 10 new people to run" or any kind of buying your way in... just good old fashioned elbow grease.

Unity...



Unity needs to just die already because truth be told, it's killing the country and peoples' morale. However, the only way that is likely to happen is if we get all the top 5 parties out of the danger zone. As long as RGR (insert minion here) has the ability to put up a CP candidate, Unity will get shoved down everyone's throat. The powers that be can talk about how they are looking at "fixing it", and that's good b/c the way it is now I doubt it would fly another month. Unfortunately for them, the majority of people hate it.. flat out hate it, though they suffer through it with mounting frustration rather than see somebody like RGR get ahold of the PotUS chair. I for one am ready to be able to finally take out the gasoline and matches and burn Unity to the ground. It's possible, and it will happen much faster if we are working together to make it happen. Should the top 5 be "safe" at election time, 'Murica will have an open CP election between worthy candidates, no exceptions or "lets wait and see next month". The people want it, and if we can give it to them, then dammit we will do it.

The AFA peeps that stick around...


I imagine that it will take all on 2 minutes for the diehard RGR supporters to jump immediately into a new party should I win on the 15th. It's expected, b/c they will want to get right back into the T5 for congress so they can import more voters. However, for those that choose to remain, I shall do my best to work alongside you. I realize that things won't be easy, as nothing worthwhile ever is. But by sticking around, you are showing everyone that you want 1 thing more than anything else.. our country's success. For that I would applaud the strength of character it takes to work together, and be more than willing to do right by you so long as you are trying to do right by the country.



-FREE ELECTIONS

Pretty well speaks for itself I think.. this is our #1. Whatever else we do, getting these back is a priority to be accomplished.

-Strong Independent Party

We will need to remain strong. As there are atm only 4 other "accepted" parties in the T5, our duty is to hold strong and fast so that we can reach next month in position to hold a free election for the first time in what seems like forever. As this is not merely an extension of another party, it will be up to us to chart our own course into the unknown. Considering we will have the advantage of being the only T5 sized party trying to forge a new path, the future is bright with possibilities of players with unknown potential yet to be realized.

-Leadership

This kind of ties into the end of the last paragraph. Considering that there will be a complete overhaul in this area, it will pretty much be open season on getting in on the ground floor. Much like the congress list, there is nothing set in stone. Those doing the work to help the party succeed will quickly find themselves influencing the party's direction. It may take a bit to get the right people into the right jobs, but there will definitely be ample opportunity to find yourself in one of those positions if you're willing to put in the effort to make the party successful as a legit party.
