The Force for Chance
Johannes Cauf
this is an IRF article, expect a certain level of bias on my part but read with an open mind too
Firstly, my official congratulations to Party President Hexshade for his election to the post of IRF PP. He has certainly done a superb job and has managed to grow the IRF's numbers and conducted Party Policy magnificently.
Secondly, I would like to welcome all the new IRF Revolutionaries who have joined our esteemed party.
As one of the senior members of the party i can tell you that you will not regret your decision.Think of the party as your ingame family, we will be there for you and help you as best we can.
Thirdly. I would like to encourage people to vote for the IRF CP candidate Chance Harrison, The IRF has always been an advocate for change and If our candidate is voted in, We as a party will do what we can to bring more positive change to eIreland thru our CP
There can be no doubt that Either one of the candidates would do well as CP. but when in the voting booth, consider this: Will you vote for someone who is for the maintenance of the status quo or someone who seeks to better that status quo?

Maintainence of Status Quo.
Because the Status Quo is great right now!
Welcome back and I hope RL has calmed for you.
Anyway, can you inform me what is wrong with the status quo and what change is Chance going to bring about that will be so wonderful?
Thanks 🙂
Nothing is wrong per se, however i just feel like it could be improved upon. The Reintroduction of Democracy for instance, I believe that
Chance could bring that back, being a member of a Party that supports democracy.
And yes, while i admit that the establishment of this dictatorship was supported by the IRF in the past. I however also believe that such support was given with the current IRF PP at the time thinking of the dictatorship as being a transitional state to a democratic nation purged of the failures and corruption brought about by the past dictatorial administration.
We already have the commune, why not try and place Eire under a Bicameral System? With the Commune as a Lower House and Congress as the Upper?
By losing the dictatorship, i do not mean removing the current administration in place forcefully. Just the post of dictator, the president can have the power once more
I believe that People would be more willing to enter the politics module if they didn't have a preconceived notion of failure.
And while party loyalty does play its part with my article's conception I also genuinely believe that electing a president that supports democracy is a good step to take to the maximization of democracy in Eire.
Oh and thank you for welcoming me back Sluagh, Life's been hectic lately but it has calmed plenty since then. 🙂
And why do you want democracy? People say they have a greater voice in it, well how many people used their voices in the previous democracy? Before I came back, know how many people voted in a 40 person congress on a proposal? 5.
How many people are using their voice right now in the Dublin Commune? If people want to play politics they should sign up. There is nothing stopping any citizen from expressing their opinion and getting the popular support they need.
Also the games democracy is false, only top 5 parties can run for congress, then the PP decides on whose most likely to get elected by choosing the order. Our system lets everyone take part regardless of politics, it's open to everyone. And what even is the point of political parties? The political module stinks and has no merit, this is a war game now - people need to come to terms with that.
Most people want democracy here for two reasons
1. to spite those in power
2. because democracy is a "wonderful" thing.
Sorry but it ain't in the game mechanics and whats best for Ireland is the current system.
5 is a lot more than 1. And that is the amount that vote now. In a country like ours, the top 5 parties are the only ones that have a substantial, active base, and in almost every method of democracy, only the top 5 parties will ever really get represented. Also, the party president IS elected in the first place, that's like saying having a prime minister is not ok, or having ministries isn't. THE PEOPLE are electing the person to decide. What I don't understand is you, and your parties inherent fear of democracy. You claim you represent, and work for everyone, yet you are too scared to let THE PEOPLE decide how much power you get. Even with a commune, or any other system under a dictatorship, you, and you're interests are still the ones pushing the buttons; and when it comes down to it, 5>1.
That was the past, by now we should be able to pinpoint the reason for the apathy back then and turn things around
The commune is of course a great tool for democracy, but it could be expanded by having a Bicameral system like i said.
At the end of the day, the results will speak for themselves. And Democracy as i have suggested it might have no results to speak for it but that's only because it has not been attempted yet.
I appreciate you commenting in my article Sluagh. I've missed having and seeing insightful discussions like these occur in my eLife
I can tell you why it didn't work, cause people were getting elected who didn't care. Genuinely.
Look at the last congress election and people who got elected - some of them literally log in one day, run for congress, then aren't seen again. I don't think they should have a greater say in my country than the likes of me and you who are here daily doing our deeds for the country. I can also link you players as well as the evidence that log in only on days to vote. Again, this doesn't give me a fair system that is inevitably corrupted and not actually representative of the eIrish population.
Our system lets those who actually want to be involved and take part do so without manipulation of voters, they being multis or drones.
The reason people don't care about Congress anymore is because congress DOESN'T DO ANYTHING. Congress is completely powerless, the only thing you get from being elected into it is a shiny medal, not even 2 gold.
Congress was always bunch of inactive people exchanging 11 messages per month saying YES to MPP's.
well it seems Chance is barred from writing further articles. So dont you think this immediately disqualify him.
Just because people support him doesn't mean he doesn't have a voice.
well the CP must be able to bring out articles? its not a biggie just inform us of his correct status. if he is voted in we can always use an org newspaper for him to publish in. i have banned quite a lot in my time so know the system inside and out. usually one gets a content ban and cant write in shoutbox and articles. i cant remember about comments though. one could pm still. usually if you use body parts in shouts /articles they give you a final warning i had one of those also one more use and you would not have heard a squeek from me. so is that it?
Poor RtK still does not get it. The CP is a stooge of the Junta well in MUFC's case it will be different as he is a member of the Junta.
You RtK were not and only tolerated as you funded their shenanigans
WHS wants so badly in the Junta...butthurt is huge!
I'm not barred. I was temporarily banned for 8 hours due to some butt hurt individual(s). I assure you I'm here and ready to fire articles left and right.
do please lol 😔
