The difference between leadership and power.
Vincent Pain
There is a difference between leadership and power!
The idea of leadership is indeed based on a hierarchical system, but that hierarchy is based on responsibility. The individual gives a part of his responsibility to be a leader, and that leader takes responsibility for the group of individuals. The idea is therefore assumed that the leader is able to bear that responsibility.
The leader can only bear responsibility if he knows what is expected of him. And he can only know if he has the necessary information. That means that the members of that group inform to the leader about what their needs are. Only then can a good leader act and speak on behalf of the group!
The leader can only lead if he knows the members of the group.
And by that I mean: personally......
1-How can he take responsibility for someone he has never met or spoken?
2-How can he know what his needs are?
3-How can he be responsible for someone he does not even know he exists?
And how can an individual give responsibility to a leader whom he never met or spoke with?

As a RL leader.....totally agreee..😉
A good article, however you I can't find your explanation about the difference between the leadership and the power.
I feel you need to deepen this subject even further.
I wil explain that in the Next article. 😄

Leadership is motivating individuals to achieve a team goal.
True story
True leadership is sadly lacking here. The game might even be more fun/interesting with true leadership.
Would you consider me a poor leader? ;_:
No, I don't consider you a poor leader.
you are a good leader
Yes
I very much agree, we have too few leaders in this country. We may have a somewhat active community but we need a stronger community and more people willing to fight for their vision of what this game could be.
Right
Interesting article, would like to see it fleshed out more. I think we could have an interesting dialogue on leadership together if you’re ever interested in discussing that.
I wil. But im curious in how other People's views. In the Next article i wil try to post my view on leadership
I’ll write a response article if you want 🙂
aloha!
if no individual passes their responsibility(?) to be a leader to anyone else. => everyone stay leaders then?
ps: i do not find the leadership (especially individual) of any use to progressive cause
