What's a Congress and how do I do it?

Many of you hungry SFPers are probably wondering "How do I join Congress as an SFP member?" Well, it's pretty simple to be honest, but forget SFP, let's just talk about what Congress is and what it does. So, what is Congress?

Congress is the group of people voted in on the 25th of each member, decided by the parties, to help make decisions for the betterment of the eUSA. They don't just meet in the game though. To really participate in the Congress you have to be a part of the eUSA forums. They meet in a special thread, some of which are open to the public to watch, some aren't as they contain sensitive information.

That forum is kinda important.

So how does one get in Congress? Not like Jayfire's rename article denouncing war or whatever, you have to join a top 5 party, like the SFP (we're nice hi) and join their forum. Once you're there, you'll probably have to sign up on Congressional Primaries or call-ins. Smaller parties may not require this but won't get votes(see your Libertarian Party, Korean Society, etc.). Congress consists of top 5 parties almost exclusively, so think about that. We can talk about how to raise a party to top 5 later, and talk exclusively about parties.

Cool parties are cool.

But you might be new and told about the dictatorship, how does this play into Congress. To be objective about it, I'll give you the down low. The dictatorship eliminates the gold from the Congress Medal, and technically means it doesn't matter if a law gets passed because at the end of the day the dictator makes the final decisions. However the response to this is that because of the revolution/coup system (LATER De donAMNIT) which TL😉R is that we have a dictatorship to prevent a dictatorship from actual baddies. Our prez is given dictatorship. The dictator is supposed to follow the meta Congress decisions.

What we don't want.

The Congress makes decisions like voting for budgets, alliances, wars, citizenship, and anything else that might come to mind. The best ways to impact Congress is to either be in Congress, or vote on the 25th. Tune in later to see why you should vote moi party: the SFP, so tune in next time.
