Meh, I always liked you, but I don't see how apathy will help in politics. To me, participation has always been the solution.
It's not apathy, apathy means I don't care, I do care, it's an abstention from the system in protest of unity. If I didn't care I'd just sit back and 2 click.
This is not the solution to this problem. You want to get rid of Unity get more involved not less involved.
Yeah I tried that route, and seeing how the status quo squirms when you talk about not voting for their candidate it seems to be the best path to take!
You're not just hurting the status quo, your choices effect the whole nation. This is not the attitude we need to have. I'm definitely not a member of the political establishment and yet I believe this is wrong for our nation on so many levels.
I am using my vote to have my voice heard. If you don't support the immediate dissolution of the Unity system I am not represented by you. If you do not represent me I will not vote for you.
but you arent using your vote tho
How am I not? NOT voting scares the living crap out of the establishment.

Apathy will keep the PTOers out of congress!
See my response to Paul's comment above, it's not apathy.
If less people gave in to "don't vote" on CP day, maybe we'd get the PTO below the 20% vote threshold and trigger the automatic dissolution of Unity.
Food for thought.
Yeah that'll never happen so we can stop moving the goalposts now!
"Moving" the goalposts? There never was a goalpost before.
With an attitude like that, of course it'll never happen. You don't even have to vote for the Unity candidate, there was a 3rd candidate this month.
If you look above you'll see who I voted for.
Voting for nobody doesn't help bring the PTO candidate below 20%.
But, do as you will. Thanks for encouraging the schism that perpetuates Unity.
And stepping in line does? Unity won't end until the powers that be see that it doesn't garner the votes that they need to keep a grip on the nation.
Believe me, if the Unity system I designed is used past it's expiration clauses, I will be right beside you.
However, for the first time, we have a solid goal line for when Unity ends, and a more representative system than before.
Unity will never be perfect. Having to design it and use it pained me. But it is the necessary evil. I will always eat the feces sandwich instead of taking the giant douche.
And I'll always be the one who sits back and tries to get more people to realize that there is a turd and a douche and we don't need either.
I have to agree with Texas_ironman93 here as Unity has only moved us in our current direction. And this direction has not worked and WILL NOT work. No diss to Paul and the current establishment but this elitist attitude has to change if we want eUSA to rebuild. I'm not in RGR's corner either but until we can all agree on something that makes sense then we will continue to fail monumentally and our opponents will win by default because of our dis-Unity under the Unity system.
Exactly, I'm not and I'm pretty sure anyone in the growing anti-establishment movement is supporting RGR, so if someone tries to characterize us as such they're wrong. We just want the power in this country to decentralize. Plus, I'm not on the outside looking in, I'm an elected congressman in good standing, I hold my beliefs not for me, but for the n00b who's not able to speak out as loudly.
