Just wanted to write a quick article to say congratulations and some thank yours. Congratulations goes to Edna, You will be a great President and I wish you the best of luck. First thank you goes to Appleman and his team. It takes a big person to want to volunteer to do a time consuming job to help others, thank you of the job you did. Second thank you goes to all the people who voted for me. Thank you for your confidence and support, we almost did it. Third Thank you goes to the PP who supported me. You are all class acts and I will not forget your support. Lastly I would like to give a big thank you to the team who worked to get me elected. We did some things right and made some mistakes, we will learn from them and apply those lessons in the future to achieve success. I am proud of the campaign we ran and honoured by your advise, help, and guidance. On a finial note, I want to say that I will be bucking the recent trend of defeated presidential canadites leaving the country right after the election. I have a couple of projects I want to work on and will be sticking around. Congrats again to Edna.

Does no-one else think that Moo lost this election unfairly? And Edena's tactics in the campaign make her as big as a fraud and cheat as all the other e-Irish which have been lambasted and banned recently?
We all know what i'm talking about, her "mistake" to say she plans on invading the north. The vote was tied and we all know that the new president's lies got her where she is today.

Connell what did she do that moo didnt? the last few days all ive seen is "vote moo" "moo for pres" "milk is good, moo is good" all without any kind of argument. so I surmise that appleman was cheated out of his presidency.
He's saying that Edana's mistake in putting "Conquer Northern Ireland" as a National Goal may have gotten a significant number of voters for her.
I can accept it as a genuine mistake because I believe it was. However, I can't help but think myself that Moo may have won otherwise. But, it does no good mulling over it now. We'll never know how it might have turned out and all we have is the reality that Edana is President which we must accept.
I like Edana anyway so it doesn't greatly bother me.

She openly misled the voters and no matter what she does as president, I sincerely doubt she will ever make an appearance again due to this atrocity of trust.
Whether you like her or not Mr. Gormley, she did wrong and even though we seem to facilitate that in RL Irish politics, I really hope we don't emanate that here.
ps Aleria unless you're not aware, One of Edena's apparent policies was to invade Northern Ireland. Supposedly she did that by mistake? Obv there's nothing wrong with canvasing, but that was an outright lie!"

Edana, I don't think there's anything for you to say to me that cannot be posted here.
If anything you should make a public announcement on the matter. Explain to everyone what a silly mistake you made and how you did it.
Explain how the vote was tied(not sure how the winner was decided as it was a tie) and how every single vote would have made the difference.

i think it waas a mistake and she did noting wrong . It was a very close election and in my opinion the votes that won it for edana were from people who taught she would do great and she will

In fairness to Edana, she did all she could to make people aware it was a mistake. She published it in her manifesto. If two-clickers didn't see this and voted for her based on this anyway, I just say fair play to Edana for taking advantage of this. Sure, Moo openly admitted in the IFP forums that he was targetting 2-clickers by promising joining an alliance as he felt 2-clickers would decide the election. That is a similar thing.
