American battlefield

25.07. After fierce attacks of Canadians lead by fieldmarshal 1ronman, French defense in Manitoba was brought to a near collapse after which French president decided to withdraw its troops to Saskatchewan. Withdrawing forces were protected from the rear by Iranian troops under general hfaganija who earned a medal for good execution of this assignment.

25.07. Canadian army started an offensive on Saskatchewan in an effort to return this region under Canadian flag. Fierce attacks from Manitoba and NW territories are broken against solid PEACE fortifications and frontlines remain unchanged. Heroes of this battle were Indonesian general verin with 3135 and Croatian fieldmarshal BlackCarMafia with 6666 damage points.

25.07. In an effort to protect its exploits in North America and protect conquered regions from possible american-canadian counteroffensive, French High Command contiunes to give control over them to British army. French occupational governor gave away Nunavut and Prince Edward Island.

25.07. Gaining a momentum, Canadian army continued its attacks against PEACE troops on USA teritory. This time Canadian army invaded Utah and Montana. Most of Canadian troops are acctualy US citizens under command of ex president scrabman who became hero in both of these battles. Russians in Utah succesfully defended their positions but attack in Montana was too strong and Montana is now under Canadian occupation.

- There are several battles ongoing at this moment on American battlefield. French attacks on Alberta and Manitoba and Russian invasion on Colorado, but the biggest battle is Indonesian attack on California. California is one of the richest american states with Q5 DS and Q4 hospital. In the beginning of the war PEACE strategists declared California as one of main PEACE goals.


European battlefield

25.07. After conquering Nord-Norge, Russian troops came in conflict with fierce attack from Finland. Finns, lead by generalom Engram surprised unprepared Russians and with combined infantry and air attacks forced Russian president to withdraw its troops from this region. After taking Nord-Norge, Finland returned it to its rightful owner – Norway.

25.07. Roamanian attack on Podolia was success and this region came under Romanian occupation after more than 3 months of freedom. Unprepared and lightly armed Ukranian troops were no match for well equiped and trained Romanian army. PEACE troops were tied to other battlefields and could not give much help to Ukranians. Immediately after fall of Podolia, Hungarians started counteroffensive trying to recapture it but troops under fieldmarshal taltosok could not break Romanian lines of defense.

- Several battles rage on European battlefields but the most interesting are happening in the east of this continent. After successful defense of Bukovina, Ukranians started two separate offensives on Romania – at Northern Basarabia and Podolia. In these battles Ukraine has five allies and Romania has none, but only true help Ukraine can expect from Brazil because Russia, Hungary, Indonesia and France are all tied in America.

Organization of Croatian Armed Forces

After Hungarian invasion in NW Croatia many erepublik citizens thought this was the ebd of Croatia. But something else happened. Croatia stoped this attack and with great help of its allies pushed back invasion force. Because of that we decided to make a story about organization of Croatian armed forces.

Croatian armed forces (eHV) are divided in 3 parts: homeguard army, regular troops and special elite unit. Homeguard army is made of all Croatian citizens on Croatian teritory while members of regular brigades are required to fight abroad.

Croatian Military Academy (HVU)
HVU is a military school and its goal is to educate young citizens who want to start their military career. Ecery citizen of eCroatia who want to became soldier must finish this school. During training, candidate must learn through tutorials everything about erepublik concept of war and after completion of training candidate has an oportunity to join one of brigades. Minimal requirement to join the army is rank of sergeant.

Brigades
eHV consists of 9 brigades, called guard brigades reffering to RL Croatian Army brigades. Brigades have 30-40 soldiers and every brigade has at least one highly experienced soldier who is also a member of special unit Zdrug. Members of these brigades get their orders mainly through eHV forum where they have a link to form called “military equipment request”. After receiving an order every soldier has to fill the form and it’s immediately sent to brigades logistics officer who then sends required equipment to the soldier. Soldier can fill a request only if there is an active order and he will receive equipment within 6 hours.

Special division Zdrug
Zdrug is composed of most experienced eCroatian soldiers. It has 120 soldiers under the command of HisAirness. In its ranks Zdrug has about 15 fieldmarshals and 50 generals and the lowest rank required to enter this unit is the rank of colonel. Every eHV soldier who advances to a rank of colonel can join Zdrug. This unit accepts other countries citizens in its ranks and here you can find Swedes, Polish, Spanish citizens. Up untill Congress TO in Croatia this unit received substantial help from government. Having in mind that this unit is to big there is an initiative to break unit in smaller parts called squads. Squads are supposed to have maximum of 20 soldiers. The strongest and most experienced eHV soldiers are: Sucko, kokach, ratrak, BlackCarMafia, rocker-ma, mogwaiii,Green Devil and those soldiers are capable to make 270 damage points in one blow.

As every other country in the world, eHV also has its own army companies which employ soldiers. Every brigade has at least one company which are based all over the world – from Spain to Ukraine and USA. Soldiers work in shifts from 7 to max 15 days and they receive 2 pieces of weapon and 1 loaf of bread together with minimum pay. Great number of citizens who want to join the army doesn’t want to work without financial benefit and that fact creates great problem to the army. This problem is trying to be resolved by forming “reserve” army.

Members of Croatian army consider the last battle of NW Croatia as their greatest victory but they also consider battles in Siberia and Podolia as very important ones. Great number of them, mostly members of Zdrug, are proud of battle in Raška where they turned the wall from minus to victory in the last seconds of the battle.

*Before TO in Croatia, Croatian army was one of the strongest armies in eWorld. After TO on 25.06. there was a big crisis in army and many demoralised soldiers left their units. Reputation of Croatian army is now on the rise and soon we can expect to have its old strenght. HisAirness started great reorganization of the army and in a month we can expect completely new army with modern equipment and experienced officers. Idea to break up elite unit into smaller pieces is good because special unit stops being special if it’s not made only by elite. Considering the number of eCroatian citizens, Elite should have up to 50 soldiers which would be financed by country in special occasions.
