Kara Beth vs. Cromstar
Kara Zor El
Cromstar
Here's another one who probably has the respect of many of you. When you are done reading this, you may still have the same respect. I prefer you didn't. My point is to explain how he was instrumental in further pissing me off. I am absolutely justified in being angry with him. First, he wasted my precious time and made all my work worthless. Then, he lied about it as if I'm stupid. Keep in mind that he has been political director for the Feds the last 2 months. There is no excuse for not knowing how to do his job. Furthermore, there is no excuse for him not knowing my job and how it applied to his department.
Twice a month, we have a political poll. One is for the CP endorsement and the other is for the PP primary. Back when gnilraps was a first term PP and I was his VPP, he approved a new forum group for voting members. Only those people in that group were approved to vote in the special board designated for those two polls. Twice a month, I check both the member and voting groups for Feds who have left the Party and remove that access if needed. I then unlock that section of the forum and inform the PD the voting group is secure for the poll. He either posts the poll or assigns someone to do it shortly thereafter. This is quite a task which requires a significant amount of time for me to accomplish. I am very thorough. Keep in mind, he has seen me do this job a few times in IRC checking lp's.
So, here I was, just before the poll doing my job. I posted in the leadership room topic area that my check was completed and he was free to run the poll. I happened to finish just before Cromstar logs onto IRC. I told him to check topic and he was happy, indicated by a \o/. Then, I log off IRC.
Later, when I check the forum for the PP poll, so I can vote, the poll is posted in the wrong place. This oversight allows certain people with member access to vote which are not actually ingame Feds. They have this access as a privilege to view areas of the forum not visible to non Feds while still maintaining the integrity of the voting process.
As you can imagine, I was very upset that my time and dedication to the Party was a wasted effort. So, I found him on IRC, in the leadership room, and tore him a new one. From my perspective, he had been PD long enough to know how things work around here. Yet, he feigned ignorance of how we run things. This is highly insulting, as I am just not that stupid enough to believe him. Of course, I would be enraged. Yes. I immediately went into attack mode and put him on the defensive. He was lucky I didn't shame him in public. Not so lucky today though.
You must understand that I have been there longer than most of the leadership. I believe the eliwood is the only Fed in the party longer than me. As for Cromstar, he is quite the newbie there and not deserving of the respect reserved for someone who has proven themselves time and again like me. I had every right to be pissed and do what I did. If the other Feds don't like it, then they can go suck wind. There used to be a time when it was well known you don't cross me. He owes me an apology. I know I won't get it because of the way I handled things. Of course, I could have handled it differently. The point is that his negligence negated all the work I did, making me feel useless and unappreciated. Why did I bother doing my job? My reaction was appropriate based on the total lack of respect shown by his screw up and incompetence.
Yes, I am aware that otherwise, he has been a good PD. The fact is, that in one act of negligence and deceit, he was instrumental in my departure.
This is when I began contemplating leaving the party and eRep. I find little satisfaction playing ingame. If I'm not a Fed, there is nothing to keep me around. Instead, I decided to wait 2 days to cool down and make sure that is really what I wanted. Meanwhile, the Clorofila attacks on me were mounting. That's strike two.

You just wasted 3 minutes of my life.
I want them back.
like I just said in the other one, seems abit overblown, but voted.
@ Eli - wasted 10 mins of mine...I is slow reeder...
Still interested in reading more...
@Cody Caine
The worst part of what was done to me is yet to be revealed. I under reacted.
mostly meant the situation that started it all, but I look forward to reading the next part.
I guess now you're going to go in to the entirely justifiable mistake that led to your acct being deleted on the Fed Forums?
/me waits for the drama
i would mention something about monthly occurrences but i know better than to intentionally say such around the wimminz.
dont hurt me
LMFAO drama
@Angelini
You can go screw yourself. You will be dealt with in Part 5. And don't skip ahead. The story is just getting to the good parts.
How many parts will there be?
Apparently at least 5.
Do I get a whole part to myself? Because that's awesome.
Humans make mistakes, because they are humans. We aren't angels.
oRly?
Cromstar=very very evil....
Remember that time Cromstar was POTUS?
Oh wait...
I am SOOOOOOOOOO going to be strike three.
Kara was the oil that made the feds run smoothly. It is a shame that party politics seem to have driven an amazing person and eRep player away from the game.
this girl take medication or you FED stole it from her???? meaaaaaaaan!!! LOL
thanks DIO u got rid of this.... marvellous drama queen
@noangelatall
I challenge you to write 5 coherent, well written articles while being pissed off to the max
This one is about respect again, and whether or not you are appreciated. I don't even know you, nor do I know either Cromstar or Clorfilia, but this no way to garner respect. You sound bitter and full of yourself.
Sorry, but that's the way I see it.
@Molly Emma
You make that sound like a bad thing. We are way past the point of me worrying about garnering more respect. I sure am bitter. Full of myself? That's a fair assessment from your point of view. Thankfully, there are other former Feds who feel my pain and have a different perspective.
I never had respect for Cromstar, he is pretty much two faced :3
lol@JohnJay
As far as the content of the article goes, Crom is a close friend of mine, and I doubt he did what he did intentionally.
Next time, you should focus on context as well as content. Intent is not the issue. Incompetence and negligence is the issue. This was the wrong time to make his first mistake and the wrong person to do it to. Doesn't matter now, though. The general consensus is that I am wrong and I can't do anything about it anyway.
