is erep dying?
KearoB
one of my responsibilities is checking the NHS applications:
say Sept 2014:
there were 20 true eUK applications
May 2014 there were:
54
June 2014 there were:
23
July 2014 there were:
25
August 2014 there were:
27
Sept 2014 there were:
20 applications
generally there seems to be a lower but constant in flux. However the NHS patients list is dwindling and the eUK player base seems to be dropping.
Is erep dying?

Does this question really need to be asked?
Look at eGov stats. Look at the in-game active citizens total over time. Look at community participation.
I feel as if I know every active member of the UK.
Really?
Yes, thats why admin have job offers open.
Actually their head community manager went to another company.
Yes.
It went on life support 2-3 years ago and has been declining since.
It needs a MAJOR overhaul quickly to even stand a chance of recovery. A game isn't made by just 2-3 clicking on buttons and leaving it for 24 hours.
Of course that won't happen. Admins have been getting begged to fix for economy for about a year and half now, and all they have done are steps to make it worse.
year and a half? o0
I can't remember a time when ppl weren't asking for the economy to be fixed.
Oh well see you all in e sim later then???

There was yr answer "comment invalid or empty! They don't like fair competition.
Had to respell e sim....
I stopped 'playing' that the other day when they reset.
Numbers of new recruits tend to be lower during the summer months.... but, 'yes' eRep has been dying a slow death for years now...
I remember when I origionally started playing about 2 years ago the community was a huge thing, there were many more votes in the media and there were enough people to have large and defined social groups...
If there isn't a push to recruit new players for the coming winter months I think the game will probably die. Just not enough people to make it fun, and the decline is definitely exacerbating the economy's woes
why do you need to make an article to ask people about the answer in which you already know...
obviously, need to complete that mission..
am i wrong? 😃
As Piran pointed out they are advertising for new blood so looks unlikely they're throwing in the towel just yet.
Also the position is seemingly geared towards the community aspect of the game rather than "Wante😛 Pickpocket to loot player's savings". Hopefully this is a step in the right direction and away from the focus on monetising the military module.
To be fair, I'm still here because I expect them to get desperate right at the end and either overhaul the whole thing or revert it to a previous version that was considered superior. Everyone expects them to just close down but that's not how successful companies work.
Also I have like 200 big bombs that I need to use.
V1 please
i say erepublik need to spend some of that money they earn off us and start advertising on the web again, thats how i got here
i guess the power of this game is community, for a long time player might be bored with over simplified and monotone of this game. less nhs patient maybe sign of lacking new player or newborn becoming more powerful that they doesn't need to become a patient in order to survive
Hopefully not on my watch. However things have surely slowed down over the years...
We live in hope of admins coming to their senses and making improvements.......just don't hold your breath for to long waiting for it......lol
Short answer: Yes unless something is done and soon.
Like most people here, I also have seen the game becoming stagnant. Admin has become stingy with weekly rewards and new players get bored and quit before they can get to know the game. The answer is yes and has been for quite a while.
This is a social game and there are too many boring articles. Of course it's dying down.

All life dies. The real question is when.
Seems to me most browser games are dying these days, as they just can't match up to video games.
makes it hard for the UK to actually make progress
comment 25.
Hopefully they'll fix some stuff when things get really desperate.
In the meantime we may as well just do some daft shite like NE'ing Poland to make things marginally interesting for us that are left.
