Hey guys,

I usually tend to get a little too sentimental during the holidays, especially around New Year when we say gg to another year.

It is also interesting for me because it is almost a year since I started playing eRepublik. And I thought it is the right time for me to to pay my respects the people that I met during my time here and those who I feel dear to me and also deliver my New Year's wishes to everyone.


Let's start with some awesome music (Click the gato).

- Hale Kane - the first person to be interested in me when I started. He recruited me, he tutored me, he was there for me to show/explain pretty much every aspect of the game. We had so much fun together.

- rainy sunday - it is a rare luck for someone, even in real life (let alone a browser game), to find another person who matches him/her in every possible way. Someone who fits you as perfectly as a proper substrate into the active center of an enzyme (wink).

I have been that lucky when I found you rainy. For the minutes, hours, weeks, months we shared together and for the moments we will share in the future

And so we say gg to another year. As with all other years we have all experienced good and bad moments. Moments of great pleasure and moments of sadness and grief. That's life with it's ups and downs.

I tend to remind myself of Carl Sagan's Blue Dot pretty much every year.

And it makes me sad to see that the tiny pixel is getting more and more fragmented. There are those who cling to power by separating us from each other, by pointing out the trivial differences we have between each other.

But without the proper amount of zeros behind them these ones, these tyrants, these loonies will not be able to impact our lives in any way. They will be safely locked in some nice facility, playing ping pong with other loonies.

You are all far too beautiful and your lives are far too precious to be wasted as some loonie/tyrant's zero count fill up.

Instead of building walls to separate yourself from the "scarcely distinctive inhabitants of some other corner" of our tiny planetary pixel, EMBRACE our trivial differences. They can only add up to the Beauty of the world.

Instead of looking for the trivial things that makes you different from the others - look for the COSMIC NUMBER of things that makes us ALIKE.


BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD

It may sound trivial, but it is true. Don't do to others what you don't want to be done to you.

You don't need to be a global leader to change the world. Even the tiniest gesture of KINDNESS, COMPASSION, of LOVE, multiplied by the millions can provide enough push to move the wings of the butterfly and change the world for good.


LOOK FOR THE BEAUTY in the world. The world is far too beautiful to be neglected over false beliefs and prejudice.


KEEP LOOKING UP AND ALWAYS "STAY HUNGRY"! Hungry for knowledge and hungry for beauty!


AND AS ALWAYS - NEVER FORGET

BE GOOD TO EACH OTHER!!!
