Cartography 101
George Hannover
Hello and welcome,
My name is George and I will be your tour guide... of the world. Today I am launching my new column Cartography 101! For all you 5 minutes a day types, who want to know whats going on militarily in the New World, but don't have the time to scroll through the world map, I have just the thing for you. In Cartography 101 I will be uploading a daily updated version of the big map up at the top that shows just who owns what. I will discuss the what regions recently changed hands and what we can expect in the next few days. Additionally, I will feature discussions about various wars, alliances and geopolitical factors that shape the way the game is played. So strap in and lets travel the world with our handy dandy Map.
As of today I was just elected to Congress for the Unity Party. This is my first time, so I'd like to keep ya'll up to date with whats going on in Belfast. If you have any suggestions or feedback I am all ears!
Finally, I have been offered a position in the eUS Army, so I'll be heading "Across the Pond" and spending some time working with the good old yanks. I'll keep you posted with how this Englishman fares on the Streets of New York.
That's All Folks,
George Hannover
If anybody has the time/artistic talent to add Nigeria to my map, you'll get a warm shout out/reward in our next publication

Great first article idea. Haven't seen one that caters to the 5 minute a day guys. This could be a great way to help them get engaged in the game a little more. Voted and sub'd.
Good luck with this o7
Good luck. The map will change every few hours. ◔ ⌣ ◔
Good idea - most useful.
Great idea, but daily versions is gonna be a lot of work, keep it simple. An overview with the changes every week or so and I'd hire you as vMoFA. 😃

cool
it is done in ArcGIS?
Legend is better to remove completely
I just took the map from the wiki and added territories and brushed it up a bit
I`m cartographer IRL. I made a map in vector format *shp with all provinces, resources, etc. Tried them how to apply it, but realized that it was not interesting
