Apollo
George Barker
A simple reminder of what Apollo is -- and is not. Apollo is a collection of countries with nothing in common other than a desire to huddle under the shield of Asteria. That's it. What it is not is an alliance. It has no autonomy: it does what Asteria tells it to do -- nothing more. The members (can you name a single one?) have no ties, no shared purpose, history, ideology: their one uniting factor is the willingness to serve Asteria. Apollo is not an alliance, but a collection of countries with a name slapped on it. It's like taking a bunch of junk parts out of a wrecking yard, jamming them together and calling the resulting thing a "car." It doesn't drive, it sure as hell doesn't have a steering wheel, you can't even sit in it, but it has four wheels and a chassis, so it's a car. You're paying thousands of gold a month for that "car."
After months of shameless bootlicking, of fracturing our society by ramming something at least half the population clearly does not want down its throat, of attacking weak countries, stabbing former allies in the back, writing lying articles in the media for them (who are these lies meant to fool? You.), of giving up our regions so Asteria countries can farm thousands of gold a month out of them -- far more than they get anywhere else -- they "reward" us with the chance to join this joke of a non-alliance. You will note that the people wanting to join never say anything good about it. It's a pig so ugly no amount of lipstick will ever make it look like anything other than what it is: an ugly pig. It's what we were offered by Asteria, so we have to take it, like we do everything else.
Being offered the chance to join Apollo is like being a waiter, working your ass off for a rude, drunk, demanding customer, and getting a penny tip. It's not a reward, but an insult. And these guys want you to pocket it and be grateful.

Nice try 🙂

Continue to uncover their lies and delusions.

USA is pathetic, but I think everyone knows that by now. Its been a laughing subject everywhere.
Yeah, like Higgins dogs, Zeus and Apollo...
Sadly, USA is in the hands of a clown..
I always thought tef1 is ruling USA from years now!
He'd do a much better job.
Only rainy can save us!
♥️
Rivalries on side, but no country with any sense of dignity and pride could join Apollo. If you ask why, go and read their announcement article or charter. It's sad and humiliating. I am still surprised that for example Ukraine thinks so little of themselves.
USA deserves better, USA deserves Bob Barker (see what I did there?)
Regardless of CODE's situation with eUSA, eUSA needs a government with backbone. CODE or Asteria, take actions with pride and dignity. I hope someone like George can be in government next terms. I prefer to have my enemies honorable as well...
We were one of the countries with highest ranking in CODE. We were almost never on the same side with some of the strongest countries in Asteria, such as Serbia and Iran. So it is understandable that we can't join Asteria so fast. Joining Apollo is a great step forward to joining Asteria and that's exactly what we should do.
Why.
Why what? Joining Apollo or Asteria?
Why join Asteria? To lick Serbian boots? Cool. What else?
Oh, I see you prefer licking Croatian boots.
Geez..
Why would we want to join asteria? or this apollo? (first time i hear of it btw)
And no, do not answer since they are not real questions.
Pacifica was and will be the best USA has had so far 🙂
And it was shit, but the least smelling one! Remember CoT?
I even had to lead it for a small time xD

"The members (can you name a single one?) have no ties, no shared purpose, history, ideology: their one uniting factor is the willingness to serve Asteria. "
eUSA for the past few months fits there perfectly, so why not?
Also, history shows that eUSA is a brick hardly fitting into alliance thing. No matter what side it took, at some point, things went awry. And I'm saying this having like 11+ years of experience in this joke of a game.
The problem with fitting in is the desire of the elites to always be on the side of the most powerful alliance (they call this "the winning side," as if there is winning in this game). That's pretty much why the US never "fits in." The elites get pissy and entitled, decide the grass is greener, and run off in a huff. The actual population doesn't care for that approach much, which is why the country is so divided, but the way things are you are always given a choice between tweedledum and tweedledumber.
At some point is always = when its alliance start losing
It's not about fitting, it's about sticking for allies.
