Hello AMP, welcome to the latest dose of the American Military Party. Today I bring you exciting news of our close election going on and a bunch of new pictures of programs you know and love! First, I'd like to present to you an interview done by our ambitious AMP Media Team member, Alexander_Valkor.

John Largo

1) So John Largo, can you tell us a little bit about your background in the AMP? Why did you join? Why did you stick around? What roles have you held?

I've been AMP kinda since the beginning. After the big split, military fighters felt disenfranchised, and I was amongst them. We had a political sub forum on the milforum and we talked about fixing our country one day. Well that forum turned into a movement and AMP was born from it. I was there from the beginning but not officially in-game until AMP was top 5 ('cause I like to Congress). So that's why I joined, and why I stick around. As for party positions, I've been PAC Director, Legal Director and Party Whip, Eternal Senator 🙂 , as well as countless months as Honorary Round Table member (advisor basically).

2) Now that the members know you a little better, what do you think really sets you apart from your opponent?

Swagg is awesome and he'll do great, and I think I will as well. I'm not going to answer this question.

3) Based on that, what would you say are your strengths and what would you say are your weaknesses?

My strength is that I am good at everything. My weakness is that I don't have time to do everything. But that will be compensated for by an experienced Round Table to keep the ball rolling.

4) How do you intend to best utilize your strengths and mitigate your weaknesses?

I'll utilize my strengths by identifying any gaps in our party and taking on that job myself to make everything is done. My weakness will be compensated for by an experienced Round Table to keep the ball rolling.

5) If you could pick Apple Pie or Cheese Cake, which would you select and why?

I choose cheese cake, because its not about what's on the plate, it's about what is on what is on the plate. Apple pie is pretty much limited to ice cream and I have heard of cheese as a topping. But Cheesecake goes with both fruits and chocolate. It's more versatile.

Mr. Swagg

1) So Mr. Swagg, can you tell us a little bit about your background in the AMP? Why did you join? Why did you stick around? What roles have you held?

Well I joined the party when I started in 2012. At the time, I was debating joining the military, so I thought this party would suit me. During Cerb's term as Party President, I applied to the internship program. Then during Emdoublegee's term, I was the deputy communications director. During Haliman's term I became the Retention director (One of my top 3 favorite erep positions). I then spent DLS's two terms and GSP's one term as (essentially) co-Chief of Staff with BlackBaroness. After this I took a short vacation in Australia and the UK, then came back to serve as Communications Director for Israel Stevens. After that, I kinda just chilled out in the Honorary Round Table before becoming the PAC director for David Wilson, then continuing that role for Greeling.

2) Now that the members know you a little better, what do you think really sets you apart from your opponent?

Honestly, I feel like I am a lot more approachable and humble than John Largo. Largo is, at times, very cocky. Some of it is justified, he is a great player, and a great guy! However, I feel like a Party President should not set himself above his party, and while I feel like Largo would not intentionally be doing this, he may seem like he is, at times. Also, there is a part in the back of my mind that thinks he may be doing this just to fuel a future CP run. The lack of his presence on IRC is also a bit concerning, but not necessarily a dealbreaker.

3) Based on that, what would you say are your strengths and what would you say are your weaknesses?

Strengths: I'd say my biggest strength is my approachability. Like, I was a "newbie" just two years ago, so I can definitely understand the mindset of a new player. I am, and always will be, a guy with an open inbox. I like people asking me questions, because it means they care. The best feture of a party president is a guy that you can just talk to, when you have something you wish to talk to him about.

Weakness: Inconsistent IRC activity and Media Presence, but I will touch on that in the next question.

4) How do you intend to best utilize your strengths and mitigate your weaknesses?

Utilizing Strengths: I will use my approachability to get people involved. When people are involved, they tend to be more likely to stick around. Also, people who are involved tend to be happier players. I know whenever I was NOT doing something in the RT, I felt kinda weird and bored.

Mitigating Weaknesses: My IRC activity and media activity has, as of late, been slightly lacking. That being said, my RL situation has improved to the point where I will be able to hang out on IRC more, and produce more quality Articles.

5) If you could pick Apple Pie or Cheese Cake, which would you select and why?

Apply Pie is probably the third best desert ever. Best would be lemon meringue pie, followed by chocolate cake w/ peanut butter frosting. Cheesecake, I'm sorry, is nasty. I've had like two slices of cheesecake in my entire life, neither went down easily.
