[USWPPP] Second Go

Day 2,489, 06:55 Published in USA USA by Kortanul

I’m writing this while listening to music and drinking a smoothie the morning before I head off to Seattle, and I’m now in the LIGHTS section of my playlist, so I’m maybe dancing a little in my seat, let’s see where this goes.

Alright guys, this pumpkin’s at it again. I didn’t get what I wanted done the first term, and you lot are surprisingly resistant to hopping on the forum. This month I’ll be writing more, and I may expect a lot of you. I won the PP president primary, so I’m going to skip straight to the meat.

Last month has been incredibly disappointing, and, don’t get me wrong, I’ve not been outstanding myself either, so let’s fix this.

Who am I filling my cabinet with?

SColbert

This guy is damned good to have around as my VPP and he helps me with making decisions even while he’s busy as Secretary of Media for the current administration. He’s also doing a fine job handling congress as Speaker of the House this month, so I’ll be keeping him on board.

ErrOrka/Sugarfree

Always easy to get hold of on IRC or in-game, we’ve seen this one doing well in congress and helping SColbert out in the media department. I want someone with energy and more to offer than being a simple place-holder, so I’m bringing ErrOrka into the fold this month.

Delyruin

Dely’s doing a wonderful job of handling communications, with recruitment messages and party news both being sent regularly without a hitch. Let’s not fix what isn’t broke, right? Delyruin will be retaining his position this month.

eMoria

eMoria has proven to be a dedicated member of USWP despite not quite making it into congress this past month, and he’s a good writer even with the disadvantage of not being English first. As someone with a good style and readiness to write when called for, I look forward to working with eMoria this coming month as we push for more media presence.

What am I going to do for the party? Well, let’s see. Asking for people to just speak up and get involved doesn’t cut it, so I’m going to see just how much prodding and perhaps even what incentive is required to get you all going. Do you like money? Tanks? Recognition? Whatever motivates you, if there’s something, I’ll find it.

Don’t accept stagnation, you should want yourself and your fellows to strive for the very top and to continue improving even then. Hard work is recognized and rewarded, don’t miss out. If you think you can do better, show us. If you think you might possibly be able to help, I can guarantee there’s something for you to do. If you just don’t care, I really do wonder why not…?
