I början av mandatet började våran MoFA HeapSeppo att försöka lista ut ett sätt att lista alla länders regeringar. Från början skapade han ett enkelt document där alla länder kunde länka sin regering. Det var ungefär 5-8 länder som just då deltog i projektet. Det såg ut att bli riktigt bra och 5 länder anslöt sig redan första dagen.

Men HeapSeppo ville utveckla idéen för att göra det ännu enklare. Han kontaktade Botstyle som går i samma klass som Heap, och undrade om dem kunde påbörja ett projekt som skulle innefatta att man gjorde en hemsida där man snabbt och enkelt kunde se alla erepubliks regeringar. Botstyle som har erfarenheter av att skapa hemsidor gick med på detta. Själva utvecklingen gick väldigt snabbt och på bara några veckor kunde man se resultatet. erepgov.com hade nu lanserats och var redo för bruk.



Hemsidan var lite bättre än google docet eftersom man nu inte behövde klicka på en länk för att kunna se regeringen utan nu kunde man enkelt bara klicka på landet man ville veta mer om så kom deras regering upp. På bara några dagar har flera länder lagt in sina regeringar på sidan.

Så en enorm eloge till HeapSeppo och Botstyle!

In the beginning of the month our MoFA HeapSeppo tried to figure out a way to list all the countries governments in one place. First he created a simple document where all countries could link their government. It were about 5-8 countries that participated in the project at that time. It seemed to be really good, and 5 countries joined the very first day.

But HeapSeppo wanted to develop the idea to make it even easier. He contacted Botstyle that`s in the same class as Heap, and wondered if they could start a project that includes that they would create a website where you easily could see all erepubliks governments. Botstyle who is experience of creating websites agreed to this. The actual development went very quickly and within weeks you could see the results. erepgov.com had now been launched and were ready for use.

The website was a bit better than google document because now you did not have to click a link in order to see the government, now you could easily just click on the country you would like to know more about and their government would pop up. In just a few days, several countries have added their governments on the page.
