[TSC] Another typical farewell article

At this time of the week, MarketMatters should be out and running by now. It isn't. The title says it all, I'm leaving. I don't know when or even if I'm coming back.

Reason for getting out while I can: I'm just not enjoying eRepublik any more.

How I got here

Even back when I joined 1 year ago, the game, while flawed, was still enjoyable. I left the game in November, and got back into eRep in January. I joined a small up and coming party named the Imperial Party. The next month I got into congress, and it didn't end well. After resigning from congress, I entered party politics and eventually became 2 time PP of the IPC. I left them in June and went to CW, and that was the end of my political career. I only served in the cabinet once, as dMoF last month. It was a pretty good run to tell the truth.

Why I'm bowing out

Money grubbing admins, shitty economy, lack of innovation, buggy game. They would all suffice for an answer, but I'm going to delve a little deeper. The reason I'm leaving is a combination of all of those reasons, and the fact I've been spinning my wheels for a few months. To tell the truth, the only reason I stayed so long was that I had a popular weekly column going, and I was a key member of a political party. Now that both those obligations are for the most part gone, I have nothing left here to do except sit and watch as the eWorld falls because of all those listed reasons and more, like countries who like to occupy for no reason.

What I will do once I am free of this game

Restore my classic car, finish my school work, get a girlfriend, get a life, cure cancer. Anything I want to do I suppose.

What will Canada do without me?

Everything it is doing now. I was never big on the eCanadian political scene. Leader of a 4th party doesn't count for jack.

IN SUMMERY

I had fun while I was here, but that fun has since dried up.
