[MoF] March Finance Report
New Ireland Bank
Ministry of Finance Month End Summary
Don Croata's March term was a busy time for Ireland and her Ministry of Finance. The promise of national reward in gold meant huge investments in our military supplies. We also experienced a surge in our tax revenues by occupying a few countries in central Europe.
Tax Revenue Report
*Note: 60,000cc addition removed to show accurate tax revenue.
The tax revenue from occupied countries resulted in a 14% increase overall or about 8,000cc.
March Tax and MPP Account Report
*Note: This chart does not include the national competition gold.
Quite the eventful month indeed. We currently have more MPPs than in any time in recent history. This gives us a key position in Aurora and extensive military benefits.
War Spending and National Competition Reward
224,000cc - Spent on additional MPPs, COs and supplies
52,000cc - Inventory cost of tank supplies (mostly IA surplus)
276,000cc - Total War Expense
+394,000cc National Reward (current market equivalent of 1900 Gold)
118,000cc Net Gain
We can all be proud of this accomplishment. This was a good month for the treasury, our international standing and, most importantly, our activity levels. March was the perfect example of why we maintain a national treasury and the importance of keeping it safe.
Irish Army commune production dropped a bit this month, we produced 8,640 tanks. I will continue to work with our Army commanders and comrades to bring the numbers up.

Now that we've lost the Slovenian regions, our tax is around 2,400cc, which equates to 72,000 a month. We currently have 12 MPPs costing 120,000 a month. A few months ago, we could afford 5/6 MPPs, so, now we're back at roughly that same level of income, where is the 50,000 shortfall coming from? Is some of the competition gold being cashed in to plug the gap, or are the MM investments being used?
Both. We spent a decent amount of investment returns on supplies and COs for the war to maximize our national bonus. Once we got that it went in to reimburse the treasury. So even though we kept spending after the competition we still ended the month with a net gain of ~870 Gold equivalent.
Great work AppleMan o7
We made some money having fun and winning the battles. I never thought that's possible 😛
The war does not have a causal relationship with the reward. eIreland would have probably earned the same reward, without the war. We did not "make money winning battles" on that war. It was a large fiscal loss for our balance sheet.
That being said, I think it was a worthwhile cost. It boosted morale, and sparked activity, and put eIreland on the international stage. It's not something we can afford to do every month, but having a big push like this once in a while has benefits beyond their financial cost. I'm glad we did the AS.
I really doubt we'd win that much, countries which had active and important wars has found themselves in top 10. Look at other countries our side who didn't have any war. They've been a lot lower on that scale.
I think some of the extra money we got from the competition was due to the war, not even half, but a fair percent. It's nice to think everyone would fight hard for your allies, but there are some people that just aren't as motivated to use up those zookas/rockets till we're at war, considering how rare it's been up until the airstrike.
We won the the rewards up to 500%. We got close to the 750% mark for the next reward, but fell short. We may not have done as much damage without the war, but we could still have done nearly 200% less damage and won just as much gold. We got that much damage because we have some major tanks who push during these events (Fritz, IBB, Biedny)
We would have won the same amount of gold.
Guys like me in low divs came out of strength hibernation for this war.

I wasn't that enthusiastic about the AS at the time and, to be honest, I've not seen much shouting about it, except from the usual people, but I do think it was a good idea, if somewhat costly. Whether it affected the amount of gold we won is arguable, but that's neither here nor there. Keeping a region or two there means we can eke out a few more TP points too. Oh, for the time when Bhane mentions me as a major tank.....
voted and thx for the update 😛

Thanks for the report.
And what about 7000 golds still missing?
Appleman take care of your orgs...The Silence is scanning you and your thefts as we speak...
Ask RtK, he has the proof. Sticks and stones...
Two words that describe The Silence...in e verison off ocurse.
They dont waste time on words....
how much supplies did you give to Cromega and when did this stop?
I didn't supply anyone but the cp. Where the money went from there was his decision.
He gave them bows and arrows.
I thought Apple said it was sticks and stones.
Thanks Apple.
