[Law Proposal] New WT = 10%
J Seemore
Law Proposal:
I propose new Work Tax of 10%.
Why:
Government revenue doesn't cover our new 30 MPPs we are planning to sign, which needs private donations to maintain. At present, government takes 75k CC monthly in tax revenue (2500 cc daily incomes average for the last 20 days including the taxes from Peru). Another 30K cc from Region & Organizations rent will be placed in RBA - this will be our monthly savings.
That means we have money to sign just 7 MPPs. Another 23 MPPs needed to make our nation Untouchable, Unbreakable, Unbeatable.
Experience from experimentation during earlier CP terms (May & June) shows nothing but great mess and data unable for analyzes. And who cares, we don't need analyzes. The fact is simple - 10% WT will increase tax revenue to approximately 300k CC/month. All you need to do is working every day as you always do.
How does this effect me?
Your tax paid through salary will increase. For example, on a 60CC salary you currently pay 1.2 CC in work tax. This will increase to 6 CC.
Your tax paid through work-as-manger will increase. Currently this is 1.1 CC/company. This will increase to 5.5 CC/company.
Does it look much to pay some 6 AUD? I can't see problem - we have bonuses to cover all your expenses. Look at Serbia - they have 15/15 bonuses and their WT is 4%. I am thinking to publish similar article there to advise them about financial politics.
What do I need to do?
Read the opinion of our financial experts and don't forget that 10% WT is nothing comparing to the taxes IRL. Increasing with few percentages... Think for the benefits!
If you are farming here, please don't leave eAustralia because our goal is reaching 300K cc from taxes. Less farmers = higher taxes.
If we need more money for MPPs let's make brief analyzes:
- We lost the MPP with Serbia;
- Somehow we can't sign MPPs with Romania, Greece, Argentina which we used to maintained in the past;
- We sign MPPs with nations like Netherlands, Israel & Czech Republic knowing that we can't contribute much each other with damage. Those political moves shouldn't reflect to our farmers pocket.
- Please correct me if I wrong but Czech Republic's MPPs are much better than ours, even if they have just 4 MPPs. Only Australia doesn't fit there.
- Japan has much better bonuses than ours and their WT is still 2% with 27 cc average salary, which means Japanese 2% WT is equal to Australian 1%. Browse their MPP stack and you will find that Australia doesn't fit there again.
Don't put the Quantity before Quality!
For sure eAustralians will pay higher taxes with pleasure when they are sure all funds go for good cause. While pressing the button "Work" you can see how much money you sent to the Treasury. We are all players, not a gang of fools and we want some respect. A single percent will be a lot if our incomes are not properly used.
In conclusion I will say that Money (Government or private) can't make the politics. The common Idea and the interests are flour & yeast in politics.
Stay United!
Stay Strong!
Be Wise!
With all respect:
J Seemore
PS: If you find me as a troll, let me point you the article of kind and honest person writing about taxes. May be without a piece of trolling we can't attract much attention.
Comments
I agree but...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kt6rRNANSgI
Well since your a congress member, do you want to put your 10% to a vote? I am more then happy to abide by the peoples democratic choice in the matter.
In regards to Serbia MPP, they were informed and are happy to resign after the TW.
In regards to Greece: I wont show the logs, but trust me they are not as friendly with us as before.
Arg: Have always said 'Send it and we will accept it' then it gets rejected.
As you pointed out, we have nothing much to offer to countries, so the bigger ones might not see as a viable MPP partner. However pushing for NAPs or region rents or even keeping close friendships with non MPP countries like South Africa, helps keep our security and borders safe from attack.
From where comes the necessity for signing large stack of MPPs?
Is there any Government statement saying that we need 10-12-15 pacts? Which nations and why?
Powerful nations can earn money for all their MPPs just for two or three days. Funds and damage is not a problem for such countries. May be they don't want us because we could destroy many common MPPs if we make mistakes. That means they don't trust us.
It is very interesting why Greece are not friendly to us anymore - they must be annoyed by something unknown for the common public.
The past couple of terms, people have been crying for a large stack of MPPs thinking that is the savior in all battles. I have tried to explain to them that it is not needed. Hell we can get away with 2 or 3 MPPs. In regards to the NEBULA MPPs, it is a bit hard to say your committed to an alliance and refuse to sign MPPs with those countries.
Which powerful nation is afraid of signing an MPP with us? the ones who refused to sign are most of the time bullied by a 3rd party country, something you have never had to deal with. Serbia is the biggest country in the game and they are happy to have us as an MPP. The rest you would have to look at who is in charge, who they are friends with (both people and countries), there is a hell a lot more to do with MPPs then damage.
Greece stated there point quite strongly to me last term and this term, I am not too worried about it. We dont urgently need them, we have good friends and allies, they might not have an MPP with us, these friends, but they are there when we need them.
Being in common alliance means assistance, not signing MPPs at all cost.
How much MPPs we need approximately for this term and for the next?
The more the merrier about packs is not valid for small nation with not many farmers and few bonuses.
Love that graphic with the whips. 🙂
J, is there any valid historical data on the effect of taxes at exactly the proposed levels (I mean what we have now except WT at 3% rather than 2😵? If so, was there a loss of production during that level?
Because my thought is that the first thing that dries up in high tax times is the voluntary charity to the less financially secure-- in e-society, that means noobs. And we just don't have many of them right now.
So if we don't have data, let's get some while it would not prove too devastating to do so. If we do have data, please advise, what does it tell us?
You know my friend, if I am elected you will have your work cut out for you... 🙂
See the links integrated in the article.
Data shows that if you respect the people who contribute with taxes every day then you need to inform them about the necessity of tax increasing.
In our case I can't find a reason for increasing taxes to resign MPP with Israel or Netherlands,. My respect to those countries, but they will spend the same amount of money and that will not help with the damage. With each MPP 20 000 cc (10 from each nation) will be be given to Plato. We have to be sure that we need every single MPP before signing it.
I think Ilene (who proposed the change) did the right thing, and notified the public with her article, and invited discussion. And I am glad to see you contributing to it, even in trollish fashion. 🙂
I think I cannot fault our current MoF.
I agree that each MPP should be considered carefully and individually.
I am completely serious about having a budget that can work for eAus without huge injections of private funds -- although private funds are always welcome in a crisis. And if we stress our producers too hard, then we need to back off.
It is good to see all the opinions. Carry on, peoples!
See again how much a Japanese citizen pays per company for their bonuses. Look at Serbia - we will pay 3/4 tax of Serbian farmer, but he has 15/15 bonuses, we have 3/15.
Let's sign more MPPs - then increase taxes to 5-7-10%. In the end you will have nothing to defend, even your own proud.
I know your not in congress, but we are not resigning with Israel and Netherlands. The reason being they do not even have a region and we can always sign at a later date if things change.
But please leave them in your comments and articles to help keep the trolling going, you can also add Sweden to it, another country we are not resigning with, but it can help you with your trolling.
It is a fact that we already sign MPP with Israel last month - you can't delete the history.
"Well since your a congress member, do you want to put your 10% to a vote?"
+
" I know your not in congress"
Which of them is true or both are 🙂
In regards to last term, you would have to ask the leader then.
And my mistake, I thought you were apart of congress, I know you have always ran, so I assumed you had run again. But even if your not apart of congress, is a congress member agrees with you and wants to propose a tax increase to 10%, being a democratic country, I will look into it and put it to congress for a vote.
In regards to last term you were our MoFA and you were the one who arranged the MPPs. You were the leader last month too - decorations and positions are for the child.
I know that you want the best for Australia and you contribute with funds and effort MUCH.
Taxes will rise and Rusty will continue working for the good of our nation. I wrote that article to remind all past and future cabinet/congress members and Governments to watch what they wish.
I was not the leader, Henry was the elected leader.
Yes I was MoFA, so I brought forward suggested MPPs and foreign affairs business to him, with my suggestions and recommendations. But it was up to congress and him to choose what they do.
Yes taxes will rise, but no matter what, if they are raised or lowered, someones nose will be put out of joint. MPPs will be signed, but with who is based on who is in power in either countries. Relations are like the sands of a desert shifting, nothing will stay as it was, every month it will be different.
In regards me doing the best for my home nation, what I think is the best, might not be agreed upon in someone else's eyes, we saw that with my vocal opposition to the AS on Denmark. But yes Australia is always close to my heart, but I am more of the mind, if side line coaches want to try and run the country, fine let them and we will see where it ends up.
10 % work tax?
Q1, Q2, Q3 food and weapon factories will stop producing, Q1 Q2 Q3 food and weapon raw material too.
I like this article
Thanks J, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. 🙂
Please don't refer to me as a financial expert. Because I can do maths and I present myself with confidence causes a lot of problems for me in RL. I didn't think they would follow me here, but I guess people don't really change for the better when you make them anonymous.
If you read my proposal carefully, there is advocacy for reduced spending too. My personal opinion is that we have far too many MPPs. Honestly, if we spent 70% of our income on MPPs and put the rest into savings things would be going well. What is our income? I don't know, but taxes are about 60-70k/ month. So, 50k for MPPs. We have 12 at the moment. Are you going to join me in the PMs where I have to tell 7 different groups we are not renewing? No, didn't think so. But I will do that, on advice from government and congress as to which ones we don't want anymore.
People complain our bonuses are weak. They aren't, at least in food. Market prices for Q7 weapons and Q1/2 houses are not far above 15/15 bonus countries (you're welcome...).
It is important to think things through though. We will never get any more bonuses without some money to pay for a proper campaign. How do we get money? Work taxes are the fairest way, because then we all contribute. Those with more companies and better salaries contribute more - it is progressive in a simple system.
Or, do you propose we keep expecting our wealthy citizens to pay the bills? Personally, I hate not paying my own way. As a responsible adult, I'd expect you to have a similar view.
People complain about bonuses, but before I selected the resources in the resource war, we were always wiped out because of our bonuses. I even highlighted in a CP article to this effect, resources were chosen based on future region rents to Chile and Peru. Plus the fact we can't fight our way out of a paper bag.
Personally I prefer to region rent and have no bonuses. If it meant we weren't wiped
Henry seems to be our financial expert.
May be I didn't read your article carefully, because I couldn't find where is written about spending reducing. That is what I rea😛
"If you disagree, an alternative idea to solve our budget problem would be constructive."
Taxes from Orgs and the rented region (sand) are 30K cc. They should go directly to our RBA. May be that is the current polity too.
Here you can found the full record for taxes - how much money we earn and who much Peru need to send us back:
http://erepbox.russianwill.ru/content/revenue/australia-from-australia.shtml
Taxes from all our 7 regions will give us around 75K cc. During Henry's experiments incomes from taxes were 85-91K cc.
My opinion is that we can focus on signing 4 main and 2 or 3 political MPPs. 12 are too much for our incomes. How do you expect players to come here instead of going to Serbia with their 4% or to Japan (where their 2%=1% ours) ?
