[eUS MoFA] eUS MoFA REPORT #2

Hey guys,

It's been more than 10 days into this cabinet's term and naturally I'm late with my updated MoFA report.

But like they say - better late than later, right?


The cabinet team had a very busy start and the FA was no exception.

As our first goal we focused on building up an effective real time communication with:

- the occupying countries
- other countries

We had a bit of a problem with that, cause as it turns out most of the eCountries use Telegram instead of our favorite Discord as a means of real time communication. So the FA team and our CP, rainy sunday, had a quick Telegram 1.0.1. crash course and we entered the vast Telegram chatroom maze.

We were able to create Telegram chat rooms with the governments of: Croatia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Egypt, Greece, Iran and Portugal. And we are working on creating such rooms with more countries.

I would personally want to thank the government members of all those countries for sparing some of their time to actually discuss the situation with us and for keeping the good tone and friendliness during our conversations.

You'd ask what's the big deal about it?

Well, it is my opinion that talking about the problem is the first step towards resolving it. And being able to talk in real time makes it so much easier.

We tried to establish everyone's motivation to hold eUS regions and their plans for the future, concerning their eUS held core regions.

Some of those countries are here:

- to benefit from the eUS resources
- to provide strategic benefits for their side

But whatever the motivation, having Asteria, pro-Asteria and anti-Asteria countries in the eUS cores makes the situation very complicated and renders the countries involved, motivated to stay.

- IRELAND

We are keeping the good communication and cooperation with Ireland, started by the previous gov. We have renewed the peace treaty between the two countries.
I am posting the full text of the treaty here:

Peace between the USA and Ireland

The nation of Ireland and the USA cease hostilities between each others unless explicitly mentioned otherwise below.

All core regions of the USA under the occupation of Ireland shall be liberated as soon as possible, unless explicitly mentioned otherwise below or mutually agreed on a later date.

Any counterpart in the treaty may engage in a mutually agreed Training War with another counterpart if both countries so wish and publicly so declare.

The State of New York Will Remain under Irish Occupation for 30 days after the ratification of this treaty, and this status may be renewed with public consent of both Irish and American Governments.

The peace deal will be considered active when the leaders of the USA and Ireland (as designated in eRepublik) have signed below, and will end 120 days after the signing.

- HUNGARY

Today, day 3830, Hungary was attacked by two core Asterian countries - Portugal and Iran. Iran attacked the Hungarian regions in Europe via its colonies in Austria. Portugal launched an Air Strike on the Hungarian colonies in the US - Delaware. After a few contested Epic first rounds Portugal was able to land their Airstrike in Delaware.

During the Portuguese AS we were able to successfully liberate the region of Maryland, that was held by Hungary.




- CROATIA

After resetting the determination in their eUS colonies Croatia took the initiative and attacked our allied country and Pacifica member state - Republic of China (Taiwan). Their motivation about this attack was helping their ally South Korea, that was occupied by Taiwan for some time now.
Croatia was able to successfully land their Air strike on the province Jeollanam-do on the Southern tip of the Korean peninsular.

A few hours after the Croatian air strike, Greece joined Croatia with their own Airstrike on the Korean peninsular.

This one faced some fierce resistance from the joined forces of Pacifica and Asteria and after some insane tanking, epic rounds and crazy CO spending was eventually stopped.

Currently Croatia have accepted a Natural Enemy law against Taiwan and is conquering their colonies on the Korean peninsular.


- Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)


The best resemblance I could find to our conversation with these guys is:




But whatever. They are currently resetting determination in the eUS regions they occupy. They are also trying to organize enough people to move their capital in Lincoln, Nebraska.


- BULGARIA

They have just started resetting determination in their portion of occupied eUS regions. Meaning that if anything unusual happens the eUS resistance wars there will be successful and can be used for you to score Freedom Fighter stacks.


- LITHUANIA

The situation with Lithuania is similar to the one in Bulgaria - they are currently in a process of resetting Determination, again meaning that the eUS resistance wars should be successful, while the determination reset is going on.


- EGYPT

They are currently building a pyramid for their pharaoh pammaxoc in Montana.


- SLOVENIA

Slovenia is in a chill mode in Texas and New Mexico, having plenty of beef to feed their tigers.
