"The NAP has been executed well by all parties," comments President Krapis. Though there have been intermittent skirmishes with Asterian forces, no major conflict has arisen.

AMERICAN-ASTERIAN NAP HOLDING FIRM
WASHINGTON, DC

It has been a long and winding road to peace on the North American continent, but for the first time in a while, the guns are all quiet, and for the first time in a long time, it's looking like it could stay that way.

With the peaceful transition of power between President Bubblar and President Krapis, the latter has inherited the task of administering a large scale and temporary peace agreement.

From my own experiences with advising Prime Minister Oinyo during his NAP negotiations with Spain, I know this is no small task.

When asked for a comment by our White House correspondent, President Krapis was gracious in his answer. "From the perspective of my office, the executive branch, and though I cannot speak for them it is my opinion that the legislative branch would generally agree, the NAP has been exceedingly well executed by all parties." A question arose from a reporter from another agency, and POTUS continued "What is more, Asterian HQ has profoundly impressed me and us with their decorum, amicable demeanour, and expertise. I'll speak for myself in saying that I feel like I'm working with the best in the world."

Though there was an intention to reach out to Asterian High Command for a comment, the editorial staff decided against it, feeling that the sentiment among Asterian Forces would likely be similar.

As of the publication of this week's edition of the eCanadian Business Weekly, while there has been some intermittent fighting between American militia's and Asterian Forces, the president was adamant that these are isolated cases, and are not condoned by the US Government.

TALKS OPEN FOR THE CREATION OF AN eCANADIAN HOCKEY LEAGUE
TORONTO, ONTARIO

Sports may finally be coming back to Canada if early reports are to be believed.

Several national business leaders have flown into Toronto this week in hopes of reaching an agreement to form an eCanadian Hockey League. All regions of Canada would be represented, with two conferences of ten teams each, the eCanadian Business Weekly has learned.

It is unknown the last time eCanada was blessed with organized sports, or activity of any kind, really.

As of the publication of this edition, the ownership groups are in contract negotiations with various papers in Canada over coverage rights, though the eCanadian Business Weekly is likely to handle the brunt of the official coverage.
