[Defensie] Joining the Dutch Armed Forces

Dear citizens of the Netherlands,

as you might have noticed we are organizing our army to professionalize our capabilities during times of war. Even though all wars have been postponed until V1, it's good to be prepared.

Therefore you can now join the Dutch armed forces. Our army consists out of three different parts.

The Orange Legion
The backbone of our army, consisting of soldiers with 2.5 strenght and higher, let by experienced colonels with 4.0 strenght and higher. This part of the army only fights from the Netherlands and therefore you do not have to move during times of war.

The Marines / Keurkorps Commando's
In essence this part of the army operates the same as the Orange Legion, with the difference that soldiers can only apply to join these units if they have strenght 5.0 or higher. They will be lead by colonels with strenght 6.0 or higher.

The Flying Dutchmen
These are our paratroopers. Soldiers in these battalions can be ordered to move abroad in order to defend a non MPP'd country or to attack from another country. If you want to sign up with the Flying Dutchmen you can not be bound by any job in the Netherlands. Therefore you can't be a mayor, congressman, president nor General Manager when you're a member of the Flying Dutchmen.
The soldiers in these mobile brigades need to have at least 4.5 strenght, captains need at least 5.5 strenght.

How to sign up
There are two ways to do this. You can either leave a message here in the comments or you send me a personal message. You will need to leave the following information in your message:
1. Name
2. Strength
3. Army Unit you want to sign up for (either Flying Dutchmen, Marines or Orange Legion)
4. Whether you are interested in leading a unit (as colonel/captain). Just a Yes or No will do.

verschil tussen orange legion en Keurkorps Commando\'s is alleen maar strengt beetje onzinnig imo aangezien ze beide het zelfde doen. kun je dan niet beter de Keurkorps Commando\'s als verdedigende soldaten bij bondgenoten gebruiken?

Beide groepen verdedigen vanuit het binnenland ook onze bondgenoten.
Maar een splitsing is echt wel handig hoor.
Ten eerst zullen de commando\'s sneller een tegenaanval uitvoeren vanwege hun hoge strenght. Het Oranje Legioen zet je met name in bij het verdedigen omdat ze daarbij veel effectiever zijn. En dat is echt een belangrijk verschil 😛!
