[CP] Day One: PMs! PMs! PMs!

Hello eCanadites

I woke up this morning like I do every morning, groggy and cranky. But this morning had a slight hint of excitement and anticipation. For this was the morning of my first day as President of eCanada.

I would like to thank every eCanadian who voted yesterday, you’ve shown that YOU are the silent majority; the silent majority that cares for democracy and cares that eCanada is put back onto the right path.

I logged in today excited and optimistic, then I saw my message center.


and that was only the beginning

I was taken aback by the amount of PMs I received. Of course I assumed maybe 5, 6 PMs but not that many. Clicking on the little mail icon brought me to the usual messages, messages you’d expect if you were just elected President of a nation. Congratulations, Introductions, Death threats, Sexual and Homophobic slurs. You know the standard.


This was one of the more polite pms

I did three interviews with countries that, until this morning, I have never heard of. I gave advice and guidance to citizens who would one day want to be in my shoes. I read a person’s request that his country and eCanada ally up and conquer South Africa. He told me that “If Canada were to achieve domination of South Africa, your country would be prepared to be the probable superpower to control continental Africa."


South Canfrica?

I didn’t respond.

Then at 10:43am EST I received my first pm from the EPC. I received a warm congratulation with a slight trace of a threatening tone. I only hope, and will try hard, that eCanada and the EPC can come to a resolution soon.



On to a more pressing issue.

I contacted US President Artela in regards to comments she made on the latest broadcast of NPR. For those who don’t listen to US propaganda. She said that when she’s elected she will move a motion to remove eCanada from TERRA. Her reasoning is that due to the previous two eCanadian administrations never showing up to TERRA or EDEN meetings, there is no point in having eCanada in the alliance. I told her that I am NOT Kronos or Acacia, I plan to be very active (almost an unhealthy level of activity) in TERRA and that eCanada WILL be there for her allies.

I want to ensure the eCanadian public that eCanada WILL not be leaving TERRA nor EDEN in my term. eCanada sees the benefit of an active foreign affairs department and I will ensure TERRA sees the benefit of having eCanada as an ally. eCanada has always been there for her allies and will not stop on my watch.

This month is planned to be a fun and progressive month. I thank you all for your support.
