[CP] Day 29: Packing Day and Order of eCanada

When I first joined eRepublik, way back in November 2008. I had one main goal: to one day become Prime Minister. More than 1,200 days later I got that chance and I dropped the ball.

I came into my term as the 34th President of Canada with several goals. But like out of a script, the perfect storm of real life, burn out, lack of interest, game mechanics etc... came hurling at me. I let myself down and more importantly I let my country down. The country I've spent 1,267 days with, the country I love. For that I'm sorry.

We look towards tomorrow, we look towards brighter days. Tomorrow President Sperry takes over, and with him comes hope. Hope that our current situation with be better, hope that we can put away our differences, our pasts, our political and military clubs. The hope that we can unite as brother and sister, unite as Canadians. Give this country the respect and status she deserves.

I wish Sperry the best of luck and I hope he can do what I never did.

I'll end with a quote from my favourite poem,

Danster9987 For his commitment and dedication to the eCanada community. I award him the Officer to the Order of eCanada.

His work on the IRC has gone, for the most part, unnoticed. I would like to extend to him the highest thank you and I hope he continues to dedicate his time making sure the IRC community is running smoothly.

We'll that's it for me, where I'll go next who knows? Maybe I'll go to the US, maybe I'll head to the UK, maybe even Saudi Arabia. Or maybe I'll stay in eCanada, like I have for the past 1,200 days. Like always I have my summer vacation in July and boy do I need it.

you didnt really let eCanada down Trent, the game is stale and mostly uninteresting. Id bet most people just hang around becuase they have invested so much time in thier character to just walk away.

You dont have to leave eCanada, go to UK or US, just get on auto-pilot like most of eCanada.

I know you feel sad President (for the last day) but you have I think atleast put the economy in a very good place, and also I will say, gave canada, a good picture. When people are so shocked to see this, they will wonder, though in the hands of sperry, They are Mighty, thanks to you, and hopefully to the future primeminister will i be able to say that too. Thank you.
