Greetings, citizens of Netherlands,
this article summarizes the results of all the votes going through our Congress ever since the start of the term. More details can be found, as usual, in the Dutch Congress Transparency Doc.

Outgame votes
Few outgames votes have been done about new CoC, new Commune and new Immigration Protocol

As usual, there was so many ingame votes, it does not even fit on one picture anymore. Outside regular concession and MPP votes, we also had several fake Airstrikes to be launched as well as fake Trading Embargo to Belarus.

For the "hold your votes" votes, it would be nice to distinguish between those people who voted (way) too early, and those who voted when intended. Not voting is actually better than voting early... I believe the CP was typically the one calling the shots, so his vote is probably quite representative of the time when voting became desirable.

Congress is still the leading authority of this country.
Which congress is leading? Leadership is typically with the government, and it is Congress's task to check what the government is doing. In matters such as declarations of war, or airstrikes, the game even prevents Congress from taking the initiative.
But if you want to show initiative, you can always propose your own changes to the law book etc.
In cases where votes are held, the idea is to reveal our plans only at the last minute, or to base our decision on last-minute intel. If you can vote later (i.e. you are very active), definitely always wait... And at that point do what you want to, even go against the government if you really want to.
if you are on the other hand not very active, that ought to be something that shows up in such a report as this one. And marking the early voters differently would definitely allow for more insights.
They were by no means fake airstrikes. It’s an instrument used to aid allies when needed/possible and we had some that were not needed anymore or not possible. I’d prefer CoC to call them what they are: tactical Airstrike votes.
