Hello AMP! Your Party President Code-Y here to let you know what's going on! First and foremost, congress primaries are right around the Corner! So I'll be sure to mention how to sign up for that! I'll also be giving you some more information on AMP Careers! I'll be telling you a few facts about AMP! Most importantly, I'll give you an update how my term is going so far!

So you wanna be an AMP congressman, eh? Well, it’s a tough job. Not too many people are cut out for this line of work, you know… Just kidding! Being a congressman is actually pretty easy. You just yell really loud in all the eUS Forums until someone agrees with you. Becoming a congressman is also pretty simple. All you have to do is follow three easy steps:

1) Fill out the AMP Congressional Application

2) Get an 80% on the AMP Congressional Preparedness Quiz

3) Get people to vote for you in the AMP Congressional Primaries

The first two steps make sure that you have what it takes (and know what it takes) to be an AMP Senator. The last step makes sure that the party thinks you’re ready to be an AMP Senator. To make sure that you know enough about congressional proceedings and regulations, you should definitely keep up with Public Congress in the eUS Forums. That way, when you take your preparedness quiz - and if you do get elected - you’ll know what’s going on.

All-in-all, it’s not a difficult process. Just fill out a couple of forms, and tell the party why you think you should be a congressman in the Congressional Platform Thread. If you’ve done everything correctly, and you’ve shown the people in the party that you deserve a spot, then everything should go just fine.

What is an AMP Career, and what can it offer me?
AMP careers is a simple program designed to pay AMP members for contributing to the party, and helping the commune! You start with an earning of 40cc daily, and can progress (quite easily might I add) to 75cc daily.

How do I sign up, and how do I make the big Moolah!
You simply employ yourself at Code-y’s job offer here http://www.erepublik.com/en/economy/job-market/24/4 at 23.01, at which point he’ll then raise it up to 40cc. Recruiting new AMP members(3cc), Voting at PAC elections(1cc), and commenting“✯✯✯ Feel the AMPS! ✯✯✯"(1cc) will award you with permanent raises.
All you have to do is message Code-y with the goal that was accomplished, and a link to the member/vote/comment.

AMP Facts

1) The American Military Party was originally formed to provide a single, safe place for members of the eUS Military to get involved with politics.

2) As the AMP was rising towards the Top 5, Collin Lantrip took over an abandoned Top 5 party and formed it the American War Party. The AWP appears to have been covertly backed by Pfeiffer and allies to split the eUS Military membership surging into politics and prevent the rising AMP from achieving prominence. In the end the AMP rose into the Top 5 and the AWP fell into nothingness.

3) The American Military Party is home to the strongest citizen in USA, experience wise!

Day 3 into my Term. Truth be told, it's more like Day 5 or 6 because even before I got elected in game, I was acting out my goals. On the 15th I was able to launch the AMP Lottery program again which is now open to EVERYONE in this thread. I've also gotten 2 drafts written for my two new programs! The mentorship program is still under re-construction and the education department as well as retention department are hard working on that.

Unfortunately, my PAC Director Mr Swagg resigned on Day 1 so that caught me a bit off guard. Due to that, Evry is now the acting PAC Director and the deputy spot is currently vacant. My 5 member media team is hard at work and thanks to them this article is jam packed with stuff!

In conclusion, 3 days in, this job is tough! But I love it, and if it helps the party, then I'll suffer until this party is the best in the country (Joking, we already are! I'll just suffer until everyone else realizes it). I'd also like to thank my Cabinet. I may not always have time to let my appreciation be known, but truthfully, you guys are the backbone of AMP! Without you, my team, I would be nothing, so to everyone in AMP helping out, thank you a lot!
