[AMP] - You feeling it yet?

Hello everyone! Today's article will include plenty of updates and fresh information, maybe even an interview, and if you're lucky you might even see a brand new program! First and foremost, PoTUS elections are upon us and AMP has 4 amazing candidates running. To place your vote please post on the forums here!

AMP is proud to announce our AMPer of the week! Wraithlock! His activity in the party is astounding. He's currently on the Media Team as well as the retention Deputy! As a new member to our party we'd like to show our appreciation of Wraithlock and congratulate him on all his hard work. To find out some more about him, read his interview below.

1. What brought you to eRepublik? Are you a newb, Oldie or did you resurrect from the eDead after years off the grid?

Brand new; I was looking for F2P strategy games, and this one came up. When I seen how deep the players got into different modules, I was hooked.

2. You recently joined VMA-214, but instead of joining the Blacksheep Party, you joined the American Military Party. What made you join VMA-214 and what lead to you joining the AMP versus BSP?

I actually joined AMP first and foremost, then when I was approached by a recruiter from BSP, I expressed to them that I am more than happy to join VMA-214, but I already had a party. I wanted to keep my MU separate from my Political Party to keep little bias when writing articles.

3. So you’re the Deputy Retention Director and work on the Media Team. Your newspaper has already started to generate interest due to your apparent skill and ability. What kind of higher aspirations are you thinking about?

It may take awhile, but I think achieving a Media Mogul Award based on my writings will be my crowning achievement here. I look forward to jumping into the political circus, but writing will always be my happiness.

4. If you had to suggest to a new player why they should join the AMP and how to select an MU to join, what would you tell them?

Do your research! I went through 3 different MU's total, finally stopping at VMA-214. The first one was too inactive, the second one had little to do with their newer players, and the current one I belong to is perfect for me. Don't just jump at the first recruiter you see, because if it turns out you don't get along or agree with a party, it's more hassle for everyone involved. Check your options, take a breath, then make a decision.

5. The AMP is younger than the Federalist Party and the USWP, but older than the WTP and BSP. As the sort of “middle child” in the eUS political spectrum, where do you think the AMP is strong and where do you think it could improve?

AMP is strong in wanting to keep eAmerica stable and secure. The leadership doesn't bow to peer pressure, and they care a great amount for the military. They’re right at the level where they don't have to prove themselves, but they still work hard because we're not top of the list just yet. Perfection.

6. Molly Emma has had an interesting month as President. What do you think of her performance? Who do you think should succeed her in office?

Molly Emma has done fair enough not to garner public criticism. As a President, if you can stay off the radar, you're doing something right. So, yes, I think she's doing a fairly consistent job at keeping with the trend of POTUS's before her. Personally, I don't know who should succeed her in office. Only a couple individuals have been vocal about their running for office, and I haven't been wowed by anyone thus far.

7. If you could see any player, past or present, active or inactive, as Party President who would you pick?

John Largo; I have read on his views, seen how he's been in Congress, and I approve 100% for how he does things.

8. What do you think of Greeling’s performance as Party President this month?

I think Greeling has done an amazing job at holding PP during a month where AMP took some hits. He got the media team rolling and back on track... and since media is something I'm passionate about, I'm quite happy with his progress so far.

A: Jack Daniels! As my choice of Whiskey and as my BBQ sauce!
