Welcoming Committee bugged/hacked

I have a very disappointing announcement to make.

For over 4 months, I've run the Welcoming Committee. But I can't anymore, even though I want to.

I can't log in.

My password no longer works, and when I try to retrieve the password, the e-mail address I changed it to isn't working either.

I'm not the type to forget passwords, I have an amazing memory about details like those. So I'm 100% sure I remember the password correctly and that it's different now.

I sent a ticket to the admins on Monday, but still haven't heard back. If any of you are supporters of the Welcoming Committee, feel free to send a ticket yourself (click on "http://www.erepublik.com/en/tickets>Contact" at the very bottom of this page).

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a hack. I've never seen a bug that changes a password, but if it were a hack, I suspect the hacker would've taken the money and houses in the account, but the money is still in the org and no donations have been made from the Welcoming Committee since Monday.

I was supposed to announce the winner of the Q3 House Raffle yesterday, but can't since I don't have access to the organization anymore. If I ever get control of the Org again, that will be my first act.

I'm sorry to let you all down. On a personal level, this is extremely frustrating for me. The Welcoming Committee was a big part of my life, I invested lots of time into it. And I know it helped hundreds, if not thousands of citizens and had lots of support. Lots of you donated to it and your donations are currently just sitting in the account.

This game is really annoying sometimes, yet we still keep coming back. Thanks for reading and your support.

Ever since yesterday, I've tried to log into GreenPAC (my party's Org) but it tells me it's the wrong password. I doubt my Party President would've changed the password on me...
Maybe they changed it so that only people who created the Org can access it?

To be fair, I hadn't tried it since last week, so if something happened on Monday concerning Orgs, I wouldn't know.

My password to my party org and gov org still work ok. I didn't think you could change the e-mail after initial registration.

This sounds like a low-down dirty shameful act perpetrated by a dastardly bastard.

I hope all this gets settled soon. I have donated to the WC and think it is a great option for newbies. Besides, I could use that house ;-p

This was/is an amazing program, and I'm sure one way or another we will recover. Besides I want to win that free house, LOL. But seriously let's hope the admins can help straighten this out ASAP.

Very sorry to hear this. The Welcoming Committee helped me stick it out through the 2-clicker days by giving me a sense of community and a jump start into the game.

Hope this all gets worked out soon.

For the admin to allow an organization devoted entirely to player retention to be hacked/bugged is an absolutely atrocity.

You spend your time helping this game out, helping newbies who might otherwise give up and quit. They can't make money if everyone who joins, quits. If they don't spend some time fixing this, imho it's basically a declaration they've given up on this game long-term.
