VIP points and shop - what we know so far

Recently, game was introduced to a new mechanics called VIP shop. As usual, Plato has left new changes for ourselves to guess and discover. In this article I will write what players have learned about this so far and some things mods clarified me in the ticket.

What is a VIP shop?

VIP shop is a special shop, where we have items limited for each VIP level. VIP shop is a permanent addition to the game.
Items can be bought with gold, but for a reduced price (items we also currently have in gold store), for country currency or for raw materials.
Each item is limited in quantity per week, and every new weekly, we should have their quantity reset.
Possibility of having different items after reset was also mentioned in ticket by mods.

How to get VIP points?

There are three ways of acquiring VIP points needed to unlock VIP levels:

1. Claiming daily VIP points - which so far has started at 20 points, and increased by 20 each day (20, 40, 60...). If a day is skipped after, for example, 140 points, your next checkpoint is still 160, It is capped at 200 when reached. Daily VIP points aren't affected by weekly refresh.

2. By buying packs for yourselves, either for RL money or for game tokens - each pack now includes VIP points, quantity of which are equal to
pack price x 100.
Exceptions to that formula are 59.9€ and 99.9€ gold and hero packs, which contain 4792 and 5994 VIP points respectively.

3. By having a pack gifted to you. Person sending a gifted pack receives no VIP points.

VIP points will not be lost at weekly reset, it appears they will be gotten permanently.

Important note: one cannot acquire VIP points by purchasing Token packs or having them gifted. Plato said it is to ensure fairness. I inquired mods in which way it does so, and the reply I received goes like this:

"Because otherwise, you'd feel forced to buy token packs and then buy the intended pack with tokens, for the double vip benefit"

How many VIP points do we need for each VIP level?

While mods answered me this question by saying there is no official source of information for this, I'll include the ones I know so far. If anyone else has additional info, please write it in comments and I'll edit the article.

VIP level 0: starting point
VIP level 1: 200
VIP level 2: 400
VIP level 3: 1200
VIP level 4: 3500
VIP level 5: 6000
VIP level 6: 11500
VIP level 7: 17500
VIP level 8: 35000
VIP level 9: 75000
VIP level 10: ??

Guys, what do you think? Why has the price of food raw materials increased?
For what purposes did players start buying it (FRM)?

Judging by some pictures in newspaper articles you can buy the following items from a VIP shop for FRM:
- +50% Grounde damage;
- +1000 Storage;
- +100% Deploy size.

There may be something else there, but it is not yet known.

Mostly because of people hoarding it expecting FRM prices will rise. I believe it will come down relatively soon.

PS - you can buy a +1000 storage for 1750cc, through the storage tab or through buying companies. Using FRM's its way more expensive, roughly 4x as much at 30cc a FRM, 6k+ cc ..

Note the listed discounts are misleading. For many of the items there is not equivalent market for purchasing them. e.g. cannot but the boosters.

For some may have at one time been accurate but not now. e.g. the 1K storage can compare to the 1750 cc price and the discount indicated for buying it with FRM is not currently accurate since FRM prices spiked after the VIP market became available. But might have been accurate using the old FRM price.

The EBs discount is sort of accurate but misleading it is based on 1 2xEB costing 5G - rather than the 10 2xEBs costing only 39G. The EBs are still at a discount compared to the 10 2xEBs costing 39G - but not by as much as indicated
