Why should you want me in Congress?



Congress is what you make of it. Bad people in congress equals bad congress. We've had some bad congresses. This last one was terrible. Stupid threads, trolls, making me troll back. Fun times. Anyhow, pick competent people, put them in, and you get competence back. Its like that orange juice shit. Put Quality in, get Quality out. That's a slogan of one of the companies I tihnk. Or I'm going crazy. Both can be true.



Anyhow, I've been in congress four times now, I know my shit. In the executive, I've been the OMS Director for two months under Emerick and Glove, and under Blank Keating I became the National Security Council Chairman, responsible for the planning and coordination of the United States. Under my watch, and the leadership of Blank Keating, Cerb, Alexander Aucturitas, GoalieBCSC, and Oblige, the United States has returned to the global leadership spot we once had, and despite some low points such as getting invaded, on the overall been extremely effective, wiping Spain, taking out Indo, and invading Europe. 7 terms of Vanek. Yeah.

I come before you, America, to declare my candidacy for President of the United States. It was a hard decision to run, and many people have been trying to get me to for months. I feel that February would be the best month for me. I will have the time needed to do the job the best I can.

For those of you that may not know me, I have been the National Security Council Chairman for the past seven months, serving Presidents Blank Keating, Cerb, Alexander Auctoritas, GoalieBCSC, and our current President, Oblige.

As NSC Chairman, it is my job to coordinate damage, define our tactics, and communicate with our allies to win as many battles as possible. On the whole, we have been extremely successful during my tenure (from zero to full resources sounds pretty good to me). As well as being responsible for America's war effort, I also have been highly involved in Terra for five months as either Supreme Commander (Military side) or Secretary General (Overall Command).



I have had a long history here in America. I joined just days before the famed PEACE invasion of America in the summer of '09. It was a dynamic time, with defeat after defeat, but we held on, and clawed our way back. I joined the Mobile Infantry in December, and became a Sargent there. I moved onward to the Airborne, joining them in April of 2010. I remained with them, becoming a Lt. Colonel and overseeing a division of some of America’s best soldiers.

I embarked on a great change in February 2011, joining my friends Maruishima and Avruch in the Ultramarines as an original member. As Maruishima gradually faded away, and Avruch was busy as Secretary of Defense, I was elevated to the Command Team. Finally, under President Glove and Avruch's final term, the Ultramarines joined the USAF as an official Military branch, with me as their General.

That month, America was wiped for the first time. Less than a week later, in one of the closest elections in history, Blank Keating was elected President. I became the military coordinator, responsible for returning America to full might. Slowly but surely, we made our way back. At the end of that month, we had driven out Serbia, Hungary, and Indonesia, and only Poland remained in the Northeast. I stayed on with Cerb, and within a week we had fully removed Poland, and moved on to invading Spain.


Once again, America had been beaten down; but we all worked together and now we have full resources for the first time since January under President Frost. We've had vengeance for ONE's invasion, wiping Spain numerous times (We will do it again... in about 2 days).

However, ONE will not be TEDEN's bitch for long. Apparently Spanish news has nothing better to do, and mentioned eRepublik, leading to a baby boom there. Serbia, fresh off their loss of Congress, are also experiencing a surge in population. I'm sure they are all legit.

The coming months will not be easy. To ensure success, I have assembled an all-star cast to help me dominate on every front, be it domestic issues, foreign affairs, media, as well as on the battlefield. It is our time America. Stand with me, and declare Vanek is Victory.
