UK Airstrike? Global geopolitical situations

Wars in the world

The war against Mexico; the Spanish ambiguity

In what appears to be an attempt to aid Colombia in their revenge against Latin American CoT forces, the Republic of China and Thailand have declared Mexico as natural enemy. However, as a result of the invasion, the CP of Mexico proposed a mutual protection pact that Spain accepted, which pits Spain against the two ACT members invading Mexico. This has led to several citizens of TWO/ACT nations to call them traitors. However, Spain is attempting to rectify the situation. The acceptance of this MPP led Croatia to attempt to sign a MPP with Spain, which failed in the Spanish congress by an overwhelming majority.

Pakistan and TWO vs. Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)

Despite their efforts to reject the airstrike in their congress, the airstrike still went ahead. In order to try and succeed, the airstrike was initiated immediately against Pakistan as several strong countries had tried to MPP Pakistan to combat the Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). Despite having only a mere three MPPs during the battle, Pakistan was able to succeed throughout the day while holding on to the Indian regions they hold.

Geopolitics

Given the time of the month it is - congress elections - the number of regions is significant. Only two nations - China and Poland - will have more congressmen than the cap of 40 due to the number of regions they have. Usually the USA would be included in that group but due to the invasion by TWO forces, they have been reduced down to less than ten regions. Four CoT nations face not having a congress election this month, including their second most powerful member. The Netherlands will be facing their third month in a row without a congress as a result of Polish occupation. The middle east has been a battleground for CoT and TWO/allies for the past three months and previously as a result of EDEN vs. CoTWO.

It's interesting to note that the UK is present in the countries which have more than 20 regions. The UK has 21 regions overall, which is 11 original regions (Wales is currently owned by Poland, who has kept the region to help defend us from foreign attacks) with the addition of seven original regions of the USA (New England regions and New York) and three original regions of Ireland.

Serbia's in a bit of a situation where they occupy regions from six countries, sparking off a whole host of resistance wars at the same time usually, meaning they are at heavy risk of losing regions which connect their bonuses together, as was seen yesterday with the loss of Apulia, which connects Serbia to their Italian, French and American regions. The problem with Serbia occupying these regions is that a lot of the regions, particularly Albania, Croatia, Bosnia and Italy, frequently give Serbia resistance as they are, in essence, natural enemies. Poland on the other hand has treaties with Germany and France, allowing them to have more fire power when combating the resistance of the Netherlands and Czech Republic.

UK Airstrike

In my apparently controversial last article, I mentioned that the UK should start gathering supplies for a potential airstrike. Movement has began for the airstrike, with potential locations being considered, notably Chile and Republic of Moldova as seen in a few chain shouts. A total of 676562 energy units have been gathered in the last 16 hours, including support from a large number of UK citizens and a few foreigners, including the Argentine MoFA. Targets will likely be considered by government when the supplies have been fulfilled.
