time to quit being losers

Are all of u tired of playing a losing game the same way I am?
I am 100% fed up with losing.
I ask my self "why am I putting time into a game when my team mates don't care if we are successful"
We have been dominated by Spain for almost half a year now. Our production as a nation is a laughing stock. We were using the strategy of having our MUs weapons factories based in the USA in order to get production bonuses, but now even that is not working for us. How sad is it that we have to produce in a foreign nation in first place anyways?
Unless you are delusional, we all know and admit that we have no chance of removing Spain from North America on the battle field. Even with the help of all of Asguard and a few of our old friend, ie USA and Croatia, we can not liberate our regions by way of force.
Knowing all this it frustraights me that a big chunk of eCamada is against a diplomatic way of getting back some of our valuble regions. This group of players insists on following their hearts and fighting on forever in a losing effort of resistance wars.
Does anyone know how much resources have been put into these endless rounds of RW with Spain? Each RW takes $10,000 just to get is started. There is also the cost of weapons and and gold for health that some of us use. Basicly, the longer we are occupied the worse off things are getting.
With the funds wasted on RWs with spain we could be improving our players instead. We no longer have any of the social programs that once existed. No more help from the Government to get players selfsuffient and to improve players strength training capabilities.
This war is bleeding eCanada dry in every way.
I am ready to swallow my pride and do what is needed to help eCanada, what about the rest of you?

if i was running for CP what i'd say is i'd find a way to get canada back on the map even if that meant negotiating a truce with spain. we've shown we can fight and don't back down now we need our nation back.
Why don't you run for CP then? There'd even be a chance that I'd overlook you calling soccer football and vote for you. 😃

eSpain is open to negotiating
eSpain is not open to negotiations.
They proposed a deal to us. We agreed then they cut the deal after hearing us say yes.. And they decided to break contact.
I have zero idea how you could politically get eSpain out of out country other than paying them rent. And we are pretty poor..
Negotiate for Quebec and other regions back even if we surrender some regions and have to pay a flat fee or monthly payments. This would be better then what we have now. In the future things might be more in our favour and we can retake remaining regions.
I'd rather have a production bonus and pay to spain what we used to give to our MU's, then nothing at all, as we currently living.
It's a basic concept that having something is better then nothing at all. Homer J and his administration along with Oinyo couldn't grasp this concept. Lets hope our next CP is a little better at strategy and gets us something for now.

Why would they negotiate for something they can hold on to without much effort?
Its easy to criticize Oinyo and HJS but both adminsitrations have negotiated with Spain and they either ask to much or stop negotiating for whatever reason.
You sound almost delusional... we can't surrender regions we don't own. The government tried to settle this politically, but Spain back peddled ad opted to just "DO 2-click" us to death.
You say this is all a "basic concept", but everything you've written in your article is wishful thinking. Oinyo and his admin are the ones who have to deal with this eReality and I get a bit pissed off when you dis these people without even beginning to understand the circumstances. Ironic.
There are 40,000 players all trying to take over the world. What the flying fuck is Canada going to do with our 1300? Everything happening shouldn't be a surprise to those that actually understand the game. We're going to stay wiped for a while until "they", decide otherwise.

Negotiations will mean us paying rent. And I do agree with you we are beyond screwed at this point.
The disillusioned think that eSpain will just give us our land back but keep in mind they are 2 clicking us to death when we are blowing money on Mercs AND we are having all our allies with us.
All our allies + mercs and we still cannot beat them simply 2 clicking us alone.
Heck they are even fighting on our side as well to get the BH medals.. So they are doing more dmg than us on their side PLUS they are doing more dmg on our side than we are.. lol
Let that sink in a bit.
Oh and the most vocal people that want us to stay the way we are arent even eCanadian and have left to the states long ago 😛 This is the situation we are in.

In the sense of purely losing at this game, eCanada are losers. No amount of wishful thinking changes that because this is a game, and we are losing at it.
This entire article just feels like a whole lot of teen angst. And I stress the "teen" part because you typed "u" instead of "you" - just saiyain. Furthermore, you're preaching general ideas as if the top-brass, Oinyo and his admin, are sitting back shooting maple syrup shots and eating tacos...
Swallow your pride and get all patriotic as much as you want, it's what the eRepublik game devs want you to feel I guess - this makes you buy Gold. No amount of this will turn us from "losers" to "winners" however.
This entire game hinges on one thing: population and gold (both of which go hand-in-hand)
We have neither. Unless your next article is "Hey guys! I just bought 10000 Gold for eCanada!", I think you should come to terms with being a "loser", losing at this game.
