Theoretical Ideas: political coup d'état

This one's purely theoretical;
Wouldn't it be neat if a political party could gain the support of 1 or more national MU (or its own MU) and be allowed the option to start a military coup d'état? (just like the communist party of China did)
Or we could go further and say, a MU Commander with enough popular support and funding could create a coup d'état just like the military Generals of the middle east tend to do.
Purely theoretical, but discuss in the comment section below

Would make running/voting for President useless. Someone loses the popular vote they just use their MU to take over instead. President Rolo for a year and a half would bee the result, That or Rylde if he ever returns.

Only if they allow the use of an eGuillotine. There's no point in having a coup if the heads can't roll.
In theory you can, just use your MU to coordinate a PTO at a single party just before CP elections, and vote up your candidate to CP.
Your proposal is more fun though
